- No, actually I know nothing about the Lucy war about who invented it. Many, many years ago my sister lived on Cedar Avenue and she would pick up Jucy Lucys for us. I'm from the Iron Range (please see my user page for Gandydancer--I lost my password) but spent quite a few years in Minneapolis. I remember the city and still see it today as very alive and actually a lot more than just "nice". Which reminds me: I'm retired now but I was an RN and when I applied in California the nurse that interviewed me told me that just for being from Minnesota they gave 10 points on their score sheet because we are known to be such good workers.
