Mahesh Kulkarni is an Indian Orthopedic Surgeon, based in Pune, Maharashtra, India.He works in the field of Hip Replacement, Knee replacement, Revision Replacement surgery, Hip arthroscopy[1], Pelvic and Acetabular Fracture management[2].He has a total work experience of more than 21 years out of which he has practised in the UK from October 1998 to November 2006[3].



Career

Mahesh M. Kulkarni completed his MBBS and subsequently MS in Trauma and Orthopaedics[4] from B.J. Medical college and Sassoon Hospital. He migrated to United Kingdom for higher studies. He worked at Bristol Pelvic Trauma Unit, specialising in Pelvic and Acetabular Fracture treatment[5].

He migrated to Pune, India in January 2007. Since then he has performed several Hip Replacement and Knee replacement surgeries[6] including primary and revision replacement surgeries.He is currently working as a Senior Joint Replacement surgeon at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital[2].
