A definition of mainstream media. Main stream media is the media you view most often which go’s though internet, movies, social media, or news it can be any story in media it doesn’t have to be a certain story. It is basically main media that is popular and has a big influence on us. Main stream media is used a lot by people on an every day. It consist of popular sites like Facebook, CNN, Fox news, or Disney Media has a great influence on people because people always look to media for support whether its getting news, keeping up on the latest entertainment, or when there board and need something to do. Media has influenced people by creating believable movies and other news sites, social medias like Facebook that people go to for advice and believe it. most of the time its for entertainment wise.

My views is that Main stream media, since media is so popular can also make people believe that certain people act a certain way because it is the most people watch and it’s the same news and information put out to the public it seems believable. Main stream media has a great influence on society bad or good depending on what they put in it. Also people believe more of the news mainstream medias rather then popular ones like Facebook
