Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because this is for a class project, as stated on my personal Talk Page. I am also curious if other "Road Signs" pages are being noted as "Speedy Deletion" pages as well. If you want to take this down, that is fine. But I would prefer that it stayed up at least until the end of April, when my course ends. Thanks. --Sydneys92 (talk) 18:36, 6 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This is not a Wikipedia article it is a blog post. Please see WP:FIRST for how to go about creating an article. If you need some help please feel free to contact me on my talk page. You can move the text to User:Sydneys92\Road Signs in Australia Reflection if for some reason you wish to keep it. Just click the red link and copy/paste your text. Thank you for your understanding. Pinging in case user not watching this page. @Sydneys92: Jbh (talk) 19:00, 6 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Jbhunley and Sydneys92: the simplest solution to the situation was to move the page out of article space (because it is not an article) and into the user space instead of tagging it for deletion. Rather than discuss, I just did it to negate the argument and avoid the situation where another admin summarily deleted the content. Imzadi 1979  19:08, 6 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Imzadi1979: That still leaves a redirect in article space to delete. I do not see what this gained other than you copied the content other than the article creator. Jbh (talk) 19:32, 6 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Jbhunley and Imzadi1979, I believe I deleted the link to the reflection section on the actual page. For my class, it was supposed to be in my personal page, which I realized and then moved to another page. If it is still showing up to be on the actual Road Signs page, I will fix it. Thanks for the input! Sydneys92 (talk) 14:21, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
