Veikko Ihamuotila

[edit]

Hi, you tagged Veikko Ihamuotila as needing more sources and/or cites — could you be more specific, and point out what statement(s) you feel is not adequately supported? (I'm having to ask, because you didn't leave an edit note or otherwise indicate what you had in mind.) Thanks, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 13:01, 20 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! In my opinion, such an article needs more independent relevant sources to cover the topic objectively --Synhuliak (talk) 13:06, 20 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It's not really a matter of opinion, yours or others'; I was hoping for more detail on what in the article you find insufficiently supported.
Just to point out also that as an ex-government minister, this person is inherently notable per WP:NPOL, so there is no question of notability not having been established.
The sources cited are the National Biography of Finland, and two Who's who type publications, which are all considered WP:RS.
Unless you can be more specific, I will remove that tag, because while tagging can be helpful in highlighting issues that need improving, tagging without any indication of what needs to be improved isn't very useful. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 13:23, 20 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! DoubleGrazing (talk) 13:04, 20 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
