[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Russian destroyer Admiral Vinogradov into USS Chancellorsville. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. Rainclaw7 (talk) 05:24, 8 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Rainclaw7: Can we discuss your reversion? I moved the material because so much of it was from the perspective of uSN personnel. It is only a matter of time before NPOV is going to get thrown around so might as well pre-empt that instead of letting it fester. Syopsis (talk) 05:33, 8 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Syopsis, We could reword it to give more balance to the Russian view, although it still should be on both pages imo. NPOV issues doesn't mean it has to be only on one ship's article. Rainclaw7 (talk) 14:01, 8 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I added some more info on the Russian POV to the USS Chancellorsville article, we could likely just add similar info to the Russian article to improve NPOV Rainclaw7 (talk) 14:12, 8 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
