Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Senegal, and maybe Zambia probably dominate a bit. This isn't so much because of any particular interest as it is because those were easier to find notable names in other Wikis. This one gets little attention so decided to be more expansive with it. Also I have had the sense Wikipedia is now a bit leery of doing new biographical articles, see Wikipedia talk:Red link/Archive 2 for when I realized that, so a good deal of the change is to include more non-people.--T.
