February 2012[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Herat Airport has been reverted.
Your edit here to Herat Airport was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.flickr.com/photos/isafmedia/sets/72157629311394721/with/6873712413/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 23:57, 14 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Not Lagoo sab[edit]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who accepted the request.

Request reason:

There must be a mistake but the fact is I'm not Lagoo sab. I did in fact use Galaga1981 as my additional account when using my office computer. I didn't know that one cannot have 2 accounts. But please don't tie me to Lagoo sab. I don't see a reason why I'm blocked. Is there any problem with my edits? I should have been notified that someone mentioned my name. I kindly and respectfully ask to be unblocked please.--TAzimi (talk) 02:29, 27 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

Okay, after reviewing your contributions, I'll go out on a limb and unblock you. From your editing profile and your language, I am fairly confident you are not the same as the disruptive Afzalkhan123 (talk · contribs), the other account with which the checkuser linked you as "likely", and I don't see any immediately illegitimate deceptive use of your second, admitted account Galaga1981 (talk · contribs), although I'll ask you to discontinue using it from now on. Your edits seem to have been generally not unreasonable, although I've seen some signs of POV editing in a couple of edits; I must ask you to monitor your own editing for bias more consistently. I also notice that your initial edits did not really look like those of a brand-new user, so some suspicion of being a reincarnation of some other user remains. However, since I am not familiar enough with the field to recognize any particular disruptive or banned user in your edits, and the checkuser didn't link you with any others beyond the two mentioned above, I think unblocking is the right thing to do for now. My apologies for the quick block and the inconvenience, and thank you for your considerate and patient tone in your unblock request. Fut.Perf. 19:54, 27 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Someone said that I also edit "exactly the same articles as Lagoo sab with exactly the same pov. (Pashtuns 60 % of Afghan population:[56][57], edit warring: [58]) I have called him by the name of LS several times, after which, at least in the form of TAzimi, he was not to be seen again at the article I had called on him. JCAla (talk) 11:38, 26 April 2012 (UTC)"

  • These are pretty lame because: (1) Just because Lagoo sab edited certain articles doesn't mean we all must stop visiting them; (2) I didn't claim Pashtuns 60 % [1]; (3) The removal of something from my talk page was and is not edit-warring [2]; (4) and I don't remember anyone calling me "LS", and I think it's very inappropriate to do that without confirming who the person is.--TAzimi (talk) 10:20, 27 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • I have trouble understanding the intention behind this part "he was not to be seen again at the article I had called on him". That's to me interprets as that "I was ready to start edit-warring with him but he didn't return". Well, the fact is that in many occasions a person edits an article and never goes back to it.--TAzimi (talk) 10:25, 27 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wait a moment, I'll check once more with the person who did the checkuser. I can certainly see that your English is a lot better than that of the other account I blocked. I'll be back with you. Fut.Perf. 15:40, 27 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks, apology accepted and I'll do what you advised. I had created a name in 2005 but can't remember or locate it, which I used for editing several Islamic and Afghanistan pages. I had made roughly 300 total edits but stopped somewhere around 2008 and also probably about 50 or so IP edits.--TAzimi (talk) 22:42, 27 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've reblocked this account (I know you are the Lagoo sab). The standard offer still applies if you ever want to start doing things constructively, although I doubt you will seeing as you have a need to break every rule in the book even before you get caught every time. This is not a vendetta against Afghan national or Pashtun POV; it is a vendetta against someone who is a rulebreaker and incapable of doing what the community asks and demands of him. Magog the Ogre (talk) 01:54, 29 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Good day sir. You didn't elaborate on "I know you are Lagoo sab", that's the same as accusing someone who often edits Angelina Jolie's page of being her. I never revealed to anyone my nationality or my ethnicity so what made you believe that I am an Afghan national or a Pashtun? At least you've made it clear that you have a personal "vendetta against someone" in particular, which I find sort of disturbing because Wikipedia should only be for "educational purposes" and not for personal vendettas against people of certain race or origins.--TAzimi (talk) 14:40, 29 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I just came across this, and OMG I just can't believe what was said about me. For example, what is "Dislike for Shia Islam"? What is "Fondness of Hamid Karzai"? I've added "relevant information" to this article because the incident involved "honor killing" and Muslims from Afghanistan. Why would someone call this a "Dislike for Shia Islam"? Were they Shias or were they not Shias? That's basically trying to assert that we must conceal religious background or other relevant information when Shia Muslims are involved, that's not how it's suppose to be. We are bound to reveal all relevant facts, and report it as what the news agencies report. Hamid Karzai is the President of Afghanistan, a country that's on the minds of many around the world, and many people find interest in reading his article. The bottom line is that someone appears to be "excessivly investigating" another person based on misleading information. I have followed all the diffs provided by JACala in the investigation but none of which make any sense. He or she is wasting time posting my RVing of vandals to previous versions. I'm very much lost at what's going here.--TAzimi (talk) 16:22, 29 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
To my understanding, whenever one editor finds a problem with another's edits this is supposed to be addressed at the talk pages of the articles. Why did JACala take these issues to a sockpuppet investigation forum instead of disputing it at the talk pages?--TAzimi (talk) 16:47, 29 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Again, I'm not Lagoo sab[edit]

Request reason:

There must be a mistake but the fact remains that I'm not Lagoo sab, at least I know this for sure. I believe that because I've edited some of the pages that Lagoo sab had worked on makes me a possible suspect but that wouldn't necessarily make me him. The fact is that I had copied some of his work into other pages for personal convenience and someone began assuming that I must be him. One more time, I kindly and respectfully ask to be unblocked.--TAzimi (talk) 14:40, 29 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Yeah, and you used his style of talk page writing because it was convincing. Max Semenik (talk) 15:15, 29 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

This is absurd, is there a way to check my ISP with that of Lagoo sab? I assure you that I'm not Lagoo sab. I didn't understand the "you used his style of talk page writing because it was convincing".

Decline reason:

It's a sarcastic way of saying that we think the two of you are really the same person because your posting style is so similar. And we rarely do Checkusers to prove people's innocence, because almost anybody can find a way to use almost any IP on the planet likely to use Wikipedia. — Daniel Case (talk) 06:12, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

(Non-administrator comment) Lagoo sab, or whoever you are, just understand what you have been blocked for, and for why the community unanimously decided to ban you, before requesting unblock again. If you have self-awareness, I think that you already know that you have caused too much disruption to find an administrator who will buy your stories.
