LL Cool J[edit]

Hi, TMC1982. Since you made quite a few edits to LL Cool J, I thought you could be interested in this issue. Regards, Waldir talk 22:19, 25 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

THis page has now been turned into a re-direct page. I was surprised that you never put any comments on Talk:The Avengers (film series) against removing it. You can still comment on it if you would like (and technically, you're free to take on whatever action you like... although you may have to defend the action afterward). After the Hulk film comes out I'm going to renew my argument for the pages existence..--Dr who1975 (talk) 17:28, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:I37897777 99207.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:I37897777 99207.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 08:20, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Marvel animated universe[edit]

Hello, when you created the Marvel animated universe template, did you intend to base it on pages relating to Marvel animated universe that was about the '90s cartoons, or just any Marvel based show, because I find it odd having Marvel Animation (which was founded in 2008 as it says on the article) and some other questionable pages that I think shouldn't be added there. So is it intended to be on all Marvel based shows or not? --Gman124 talk 03:51, 14 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If it's for all shows then maybe the pages in Marvel Action Universe could also be added there. and also the newer shows. --Gman124 talk 03:54, 14 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tweedledum and Tweedledee[edit]

I removed your image primarily because it had no rational and List of X-Men episodes is list for a FL removal candidate. And I also don't think it helps the page anyway. --Gman124 talk 23:48, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:1993 NLCS Game 4 CBS Intro.gif[edit]

Thank you for uploading Image:1993 NLCS Game 4 CBS Intro.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by an adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 14:00, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you add a Batman template to this page? Colonies Chris (talk) 16:04, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

OK, thanks for explaining that. I've added a section to the article mentioning the filming, with a link to the Dark Knight article, and taken out the Batman template because only that one small part of it is relevant to the Central-Mid-Levels escalators. AfD nomination of Batman's career timeline[edit]

I have nominated Batman's career timeline, an article you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Batman's career timeline. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Batman's career[edit]

I still think that you could have told me that in a less flippant manner. Also, my "holy in-universe plot summary" comment was tongue in cheek but I still stand by my "delete". I know how impactful Batman has been, you don't need to tell me that. However, I still feel that the information in its present form is written in-universe, and is overly detailed. Image copyright problem with Image:Famlogo.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Famlogo.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Batman templates[edit]

Please stop adding them to anything somewhat related to the subject. Just because a movie, TV show, video game (or anything else) features it somehow, doesn't mean it should just be slapped on the article. Batman: Arkham Asylum is one example, where it doesn't need 10000 templates just to show every article related to the villains. RobJ1981 (talk) 05:11, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit to my talk page[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would like to remind you not to attack other editors. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Regarding your comments on User talk:RobJ1981: Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. While this message is redundant to what RobJ1981 already said here, it needs to be repeated by an outside party. Telling someone to "go screw yourself, crybaby," is not civil, is not conducive to discussion, and fails to address concerns raised by that individual, and you seem capable enough that you should darn well know that. Use of copyrighted material[edit]

Relating to the above AFD, much of the page if not all of it is copied from the IMDb "Alternate versions" listings. This material is considered copyrighted by the IMDb and as such cannot be taken verbatim by Wikipedia. And in this case how I know is that I wrote many of these myself and submitted them to IMDb. If you have done similar edits/article creation using cut-and-pasted material from IMDb I recommend you stop doing so. The information can still be used, but it needs to be rewritten so that it is "original". 23skidoo (talk) 18:44, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Did you know (DYK) about Greate Pier? Last king of Frisia (talk) 08:56, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that in some recent work to Template:1966-1968 Batman television series, you reverted two pieces of work by me. One pointed out that Lee Meriwether's performance as Catwoman was not on the TV show per se but in the big-screen spin-off, the other removing "Pennyworth" from the display of the Wikilink to Alfred's article as his last name was never used in this series. I said as much in my edit summaries on each occasion. May I inquire as to your justifications for these reversions? --Ted Watson (talk) 21:07, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
