Hi, I have had a look at the article Draft:Matt Konop and it will be very easy to edit to get accepted I think. WP is fairly pedantic about referencing (even obsessive). In short, each statement or group of statements needs to be substantiated by a reference to a source. At the minimum, there needs to be a reference cited at the end of each paragraph to support the text of the para. The exception is the lead, which, as a precis, can rely on the text body provided any statements are substantiated within the body of text. As an example, there are no references cited for the WW2 section/paragraph. Quotes should also be specifically cited - ie the statement quoted in the battle of the Bulge section.

the statements: "Had the German army broken through, there would have been little resistance to stop their advance to the sea", and "Konop had been snared by an unfortunate combination of bad timing, a bad attitude, and circumstantial evidence that included his manner of speech", are at the end of a para and are not supported by a citation. Are these your conclusions or are they supported by a reference? If not taken from a reference, they would be considered original research (see Wikipedia:No original research). These statements might seem to be straight-forward logical deductions far short of what might normally be considered the benchmark of research but again, WP gets a bit anal about this sort of thing (don't shoot the messenger). If they can't be supported by a citation it best to leave them out or at least modify them with statements that can be supported by citation.

These edits are best/easiest done by somebody familiar with the source material and with access to it. Hope this is of help. I know it can be frustrating (been there done that too). Let me know if I can be of help. @User talk:Cinderella157 in a post will send me a notification if you are posting here or on the article's talk page.
