Nurse Practitioners are not mid level providers. We are medical providers, often primary care providers.

Homosexuality isn't an issue

Saying that homosexuality is an 'issue' isn't a neutral STAND POINT. SORT IT OUT. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.2.40.111 (talk) 16:17, 2 July 2020 (UTC)

  • I would recommend perusing the previous edits to the page in question which explain the encyclopedia's policy on potentially biased content and my reasoning for reverting your edit, which conforms to this policy and the actions of previous editors, which were also explained in the article's edit history. Thank you!

Thanks for the welcome! It's a great comfort as I try my hand at editing (hopefully without too many mistakes). Yosoemon (talk) 20:22, 2 July 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for the welcome

Thanks for the welcome - I didn't know there were 'talk' pages. I'm a history professor and try to strictly limit my time editing Wikipedia since I know it's more useful for me to publish my 2ndary source work which is what Wikipedia's tertiary sources need to grow and improve, but occasionally when I'm using a page for reference and spot an actual mistake, or something that's phrased in an accidentally misleading way, or a contradiction between two different linked pages (it's pretty common for a Renaissance figure's birth date to be listed differently on different pages) I try to take a minute to fix it. Still learning best citation practices but I think I'm getting the jist. Thanks again for the welcome. Putrocca (talk) 16:08, 4 July 2020 (UTC)

One question, actually, when I look at my list of past edits some of them say (current) at the end and some don't - what does that mean? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Putrocca (talkcontribs) 16:09, 4 July 2020 (UTC)

  • Of course! Your contributions and expertise are greatly appreciated. With respect to your above question, (current) means that your edit remains the current version of a given page. Some editors use the percentage of current edits relative to a contributor's total contributions as a means of gauging overall edit quality. Tarheel95 (Talk) 16:19, 4 July 2020 (UTC)
