November 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm TheJoebro64. I noticed that you recently removed content from The Death of Superman without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. JOEBRO64 20:13, 26 November 2018 (UTC) Hi. I felt it deviated from the subject.[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary, like you did at The Death of Superman. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. JOEBRO64 23:23, 26 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I meant to remove that content, as it is about Vertigo, NOT "The Death of Superman". Stick to the subject.
The information is still useful to the reader and is relevant in the context. The source also doesn't mention Vertigo by name, so assuming they're talking about Vertigo when they mention the mature comics line is WP:SYNTH. Please do not remove the note again. Thank you. Stop icon

Your recent editing history at The Death of Superman shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Favre1fan93 (talk) 18:59, 28 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please take note of all this. Another instance of you reverting like this without engaging in discussion and finding a consensus on how to proceed, and your account will be temporarily blocked. Sergecross73 msg me 23:05, 28 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
It looks like you’ve violated this multiple times since I last checked in, so you are now blocked for editing for 2 days. Next time, stopped repeatedly reverting while discussion is on-going. Sergecross73 msg me 21:11, 6 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you were objective, you would also block the other guy. Tatum-Tatum (talk) 21:13, 6 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you understood the policies/guidelines/expectations, you’d understand that if you a proposing a change, the burden is on you to find a consensus before proceeding with your change once it’s been challenged. Until you have a consensus, you’re not to move forward with your change. See WP:BRD. And even if you didn’t understand all that, you could have at least listened to the countless people who warned you to stop a week ago here on your talk page. Sergecross73 msg me 22:45, 6 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I am not proposing a change. I want to leave the article as it has (correctly) been for months. Tatum-Tatum (talk) 13:31, 7 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Indenting comments[edit]

Please read Wikipedia:Indentation. Thanks! Argento Surfer (talk) 21:29, 10 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Revisionist history[edit]

If DC announces 7 series but cancels one of them before they publish it, we don't go back and edit history to pretend that they originally said they were going to publish only "6". That would be untrue, and that's seriously frowned on here. -Jason A. Quest (talk) 01:33, 16 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

You are blocked for 1 week, for edit warring, because you have been warned about this before, and instead decided to revert someone like 10+ times. Sergecross73 msg me 22:54, 26 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
