Hi Taymills, I am very concerned about the materials that you have add to this article, I have undone the edit that you made to the article. Here are my main concerns:
- The section that you have added is largely a history of Native Americans in the region, and does not write directly towards the main topic of the article: stratification within Appalachian society. I would expect information on how the Native Americans fit with contemporary communities, which is the kinds of information that your proposed sources were examing.
- Moreover: what is the purpose of the blockquote? How can a reader understand its context and where it came from? Without more explanation, this information
- What is the purpose of the information from the Wikipedia article about Native American resevations? Where does it fit into the larger context of the article? Why are you not drawing from additional sources?
All of these concerns make your current draft extremely, extremely problematic, and not very helpful for expanding the article. Please talk to you instructor, he will be able to give you more direction on using proper information and sources to expand this article. Sadads (talk) 00:35, 12 August 2014 (UTC)
