Articles about politicians

[edit]

Just a few notes for you when writing new articles about politicians, because I've had to clean up after you a lot the past couple of weeks:

  1. Do not add Category:American politicians or "[State] politicians" to people who are already being categorized as "Holders of specific political role". For example, if a person is already being added to Category:Indiana state senators, then do not also file him in "Indiana politicians" or "American politicians" at the same time as that. People go into the most specific relevant categories, not into every parent category up the same ladder.
  2. Lists of people are organized by surname, not first name — so you must add a {{DEFAULTSORT:Surname, Firstname}} declaration in front of the categories.
  3. Don't tag an article as a stub if it's already longer than a proper stub.

Hello. Sorry it's taken me so long to respond! Thanks for the feedback, I apologize for my sloppy editing, as I am still rather new. I really appreciate getting some pointers from more experienced users! TazmilyKoala (talk) 20:47, 18 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
