A couple of peer review points:
- First off, you begin your article with what seems to be an essay hook: "When talking about early cinema it is tough not to mention D.W. Griffith and his numerous films... " This is an opinionated statement. Remember, this is supposed to be similar to an encyclopedic article.
- You need to utilize paragraphs. Your content is good, but it needs some serious re-formatting. A singular block paragraph most likely will not fly.
- Photographs might be useful and provide a nice curated look. Spice it up.
- Much editing needed, especially grammatical and comma use.

Thanks for uploading File:RoseSmith.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
