A couple of peer review points:

  • First off, you begin your article with what seems to be an essay hook: "When talking about early cinema it is tough not to mention D.W. Griffith and his numerous films... " This is an opinionated statement. Remember, this is supposed to be similar to an encyclopedic article.
  • You need to utilize paragraphs. Your content is good, but it needs some serious re-formatting. A singular block paragraph most likely will not fly.
  • Photographs might be useful and provide a nice curated look. Spice it up.
  • Much editing needed, especially grammatical and comma use.
