Take care[edit]

A wise person knows when to take a break. Take care of yourself first. Take as long as you need. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 02:29, 6 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much! Tease Pillar (contributions) 02:31 6 December 2020 (UTC)

I hope that none of my comments have or will lead you to give up on Wikipedia completely. I am also thinking about taking a break myself as I am getting rather overwhelmed by life at the moment. I agree with davidwr. It is important and healthy to known when to take a break from something, and I wish you only the best. Aoba47 (talk) 02:37, 6 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes and I am pretty much leaving because of a recent situation on here where I feel as if I am being targeted and antagonized by another editor (who is well-known on here and has had a lot of advances from editing here) and it really got to me. I hope that I get to continue editing on here but I am really frustrated and I just feel that I am not in the right mind to edit on here anymore. I hope you understand, xoxo! Tease Pillar (contributions) 00:00 6 December 2020 (UTC)

  • I completely understand. If you ever want to talk about, you can always reach out to me (or email me if you would prefer something more private). Enjoy your time away from Wikipedia and enjoy the rest of the year! This will sound super lame, but I'll send positive vibes your way lol. At least, there's the Ashanti and Keyshia Cole verzuz to look forward too. I actually did not know they had a song together. A shame it was never released as a single. Request reason:

'I am truly sorry for my disruptive editing, after I received my final warning from the other user, I realized that adding false info on articles was very wrong and that type of stuff is why Wikipedia has a reputation for not always having factual information on a lot of it's articles. I promise that I will do better and I will stop relying on false chart data, non-factual information, etc. If I cannot return to editing on here then I am okay with that as I have caused somewhat damage to a few articles. Please forgive me. I plan to start focusing on nothing but spreading missing reliable and truthful information on articles. I will not continue my disruptive edits anymore by adding false info even if I want to. I was very wrong for that and after facing a huge amount of embarrassment and exposure, I promise I am done doing that and I truly mean it. All I want to do is improve and add better information to R&B/Hip-Hop-related articles. I know I went to overboard adding fake chart positions and information backed up by unreliable sources but I promise I will show improve as I really want to stay on here and impress a lot of editors. I am willing to get approval to continue my journey of editing on here and I promise if you give me another chance I will not blow it and I will come back with better knowledge and much more stronger appeal. Thank you! Tease Pillar (contributions) 19:04, 8 December 2020 (UTC)

Decline reason:

You've worked hard to very clearly demonstrate you haven't the slightest intention of changing. You've promised to do so before, earlier this month, and broken your word. Any time someone works this hard to demonstrate they cannot be trusted, we tend to believe their actions. Yamla (talk) 19:53, 8 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Unblock does some behind-the-scenes magic. You need to remove the tlx| from your unblock request for it to "work right." That may be why nobody has responded yet. See WP:Templates for general information about templates. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 19:28, 8 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I know that I promised I was not gonna do it again last time and then I broke my promise but once I received my final warning I knew it was time to stop and of course some of you will not choose to trust my new promise despite that but I am begging and willing to do what is right. Just give me a chance and help guide me. One more thing would be reviewing the next edits I make and checking to see if the source is reliable or unreliable. I know at this point it is gonna take a longer time to trust me and believe me but I will work as hard as I can to earn back my trust and fix my reputation. If I cannot come back that will feel like a kiss of death as all I wanted to do was improve R&B/Hip-Hop related articles on Wikipedia. I know now that adding false misleading information purposely is bad and if I do it again this time I should truly been gone forever. Just please let me come back to editing here bc I know I have true potential. Yes, I caused a whole lot of disruption but I know that this time around I am gonna show all of you that I am not gonna go back to those ways once and for all. So please give me this chance to redeem myself and improve articles with great information. If the sources I add are not reliable or anything, you guys may remove it. I promise that if I get unblocked I will work as hard to give factual information to articles on Wikipedia and you have my word on that. What I would really wish for is that when I do my next big improvement on an article one of you could go and review my edits on it by looking at the sources and reading the information clearly and if you see anything that seems bad or unreliable then please remove or fix it for me. I swear I will not break this promise and I will give everything all I got. Whatever you need me to do this time I will do it. Just please believe me. I know you all think I am lying again but this is coming from the bottom of my heart and I mean everything I write this time. If I didn't I would not be on here requesting for an unblock appeal. I know I messed up last time but this time around I will redeem myself, trust and believe. Thank you! Tease Pillar (contributions) 22:48, 8 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I've blocked your sock puppet Khonarh. You should also probably address whether you're a sock puppet of MrWriter245, who's on the same ISP as you. Article requests[edit]

Welp, since everything is now out there. I would like for both of my sandboxes (1 and 2) to be deleted as I do not want to be burdened with both of them on there mainly because of the heavy information I added to them. But first, I would prefer if fellow users like @Aoba47: or someone could retrieve both and finish them for me so I cannot carry on with this burden that I have left Wikipedia unfinished with everything. I am very sad that no matter what I am unable to continue working on here. Please help me by updating the information that I added for the two articles on my sandboxes so I can finally feel at peace with everything as I am just very emotional. I am sorry if I disappointed you and any other editors on here but I just cannot make it up even as hard I as I try. Good luck with everyone, goodbye! big>Tease Pillar (contributions) 00:00, 9 December 2020}}

To anyone that takes up User:Tease Pillar/sandbox please request a WP:HISTSPLIT to delete everything before the "empty" revision of 07:27, 2 December 2020.[1]
Also, be 100% sure that the issues that led to this block are not present in that draft. The 2nd sandbox, User:Tease Pillar/sandbox0, is basically a single-edit stub or pre-stub draft with 2 references.
Due to this editor's history, references should be double-checked before any other "content" work is done. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 22:18, 9 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Fare well[edit]

I think it's obvious that you and Wikipedia will both be better off spending time apart.

Whether you ever decide you want to come back is up to you. No reasonable person will think any more or any less of you if you decide to come back in 6 months or if you decide to never come back.

Whether you can come back successfully, using WP:Standard offer, is also up to you.

There are many ways to make the world a better place outside of Wikipedia. I trust you will find one that lets your talents shine without causing frustration for anyone involved. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 22:22, 9 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much. I loved editing on here and I really wish that this never happened. But you know, I was not that truthful and I continued my conflict of interest by adding false chart peaks to music-related articles. All I really wanted was to improve many R&B/Hip-Hop-related articles on here but due to some of the false info I added in the past when I first joined I got caught up by someone and now it is all over for me. I hope I can return but at this point it feels like a done deal from half of the damage I caused. Tease Pillar (talk) 22:37, 9 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Early standard offer request[edit]

Hello, @Davidwr:. Sorry if I am bothering you but I am asking if I could try and take the SO now instead of waiting for six more months as I am really eager to get my block reviewed already. I do not want to be blocked for so long as I really would like to continue editing on Wikipedia now (even though I was blocked like a week ago) and I would like to do whatever it takes to get to return. Are there any willing adminstrators who you could get to review it for me please? I would really appreciate it if you get one. Tease Pillar (talk) 17:52, 16 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I am not an administrator. As blocks are not "punishments" but rather to "protect the project" it is reasonable to make such a request.
However, based on my decades of experience as an adult and over a decade of experience on Wikipedia, I don't think I would be doing you, other Wikipedia editors, or its readers any favors trying to get your block lifted early. I think a few months of not thinking about Wikipedia may be the best way to help you eventually return as a productive editor. In the meantime, I recommend finding another hobby and another way to make the world a better place. Yes, I could be wrong, and Wikipedia may be missing out on some good editing over the next few months, but Wikipedia will survive without you. You will survive without editing Wikipedia for at least that long. Please don't ask again until the 6 months are up. Even better, wait a month or two longer, just to prove to yourself that you have patience. If you don't have patience, working on collaborative projects like Wikipedia will be frustrating at best. When the time comes, maybe as early as next June, maybe later, don't ask me. Instead, just post an unblock request and ask for the standard offer. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 🎄 18:18, 16 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hello @Explicit:, I am a blocked user on Wikipedia. About seven in a half months ago, I was indefinitely blocked for adding false chart information to certain articles. I have made two requests to be unblocked but both of them were declined. So now, I am submitting (as recommended) a SO request to be unblocked from Wikipedia as I feel I have now learned from my past mistakes over the months of my absence. I have actually liked your contributions and work on the site so I chose to contact and ask if a review would be appropriate and if so can you please help me with that? I would really appreciate it as I really want to return to editing on here.

Decline reason:

Not eligible for unblock consideration. You last edited as  Confirmed sock, CrimsonC 02, on 2021-04-03. You are free to request unblock consideration under WP:SO no sooner than 2022-01-09, assuming you refrain from any further block evasion until then. Yamla (talk) 17:20, 9 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

One unanswered question is whether you edited as MrWriter245. JJMC89 commented about it in the ANI discussion of December 2020, and NinjaRobotPirate recommended above that you clear up the matter. Binksternet (talk) 06:27, 7 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not even familiar with that user nor have I associated myself with them. I feel I have all right to deny that claim. All that admin really said was that my edits were similar to them which I also do not quite understand. If that is just another excuse being made for my block to remain then it's a pretty inaccurate one. I was also informed that I edit from the same internet service provider from them which pretty much confuses me even more about the situation. Tease Pillar (talk) 18:12, 7 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hello. I am aware that there's possibly no point of me making this request since I've already received another confirmed sockpuppet despite being ordered to not to make any sock edits or else I'd receive another delay. Regardless, I really would love to be unblocked though because. After receiving my indefinite block for something that I decided not to ever do again, I really couldn't get over the fact that I never got the chance to accomplish one of my goals which was to improve so many articles related to R&B/hip-hop music as this wiki has a lot of stubs pages about things within those genres. Yes, I admit that I went against the rules of the wiki and chose to commit sock puppetry by creating new accounts in attempt to achieve that goal but I really love being on this site and making contributions here. If you looked at all the edits and article creations that I've made as Fullmoon211, you'd see that all of them were in good faith and I was even able to achieve a few GAs. I've learned from all of my mistakes that I've made since first joining, this long-term block has felt so isolating and I even remember nearly crying after I found out about it. I'm begging and pleading to be unblocked as I promise that I can make so many improvements as a user and editor on this site. Please hear me out as I'm saying all of this in complete distress and disheartenment.

Decline reason:

Procedural decline. You've been so abusive, including as recently as yesterday, that you are now considered banned by the community as per WP:3X. No administrator is free to unilaterally lift this ban and your edits may be reverted on sight. Yamla (talk) 10:31, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

At the ANI report which led to your indefinite block, the evidence showed that you had repeatedly added false chart information to song articles despite promising otherwise. This is how you lost the community's trust. Your history shows that you would continue to add false information if you were unblocked. Binksternet (talk) 04:39, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That was precisely four years ago and I've wanted to fully redeem myself since receiving the block. Please don't think that I haven't changed from that as I'm clearly begging to receive pity after so long. While editing under a new account, I chose to look hard and long for sources every time I would edit or create an article. It sucks even more because I worked really hard with a lot of my edits (under Fullmoon211) only for them to be reverted and deleted despite no evidence of false information without real sources or anything being added. Tease Pillar (talk) 07:56, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Claiming that deliberately violating WP:SOCK and WP:EVADE is an example of "good faith" shows it would be a terrible mistake to unblock you now. You are far closer to a community ban under WP:3X than you are to being unblocked. In fact, you may be there now. --Yamla (talk) 10:27, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Also,  Confirmed to Regalicious and ZenGlimpse and PrismGaze. I'll go mark you as banned now. --Yamla (talk) 10:30, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ok then. You and all of the other admins behind this shitty ass site are old, evil and disgusting. Goodbye. Tease Pillar (talk) 14:34, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
