Edits to Brassiere[edit]

Hi. I noted your efforts to edit the article. You left a note to J. Delanoy on his talk page. I'm not sure if you've seen his response here, but he explains a little why he changed your edits back. You are of course allowed to edit wikipedia, but it's not considered appropriate to remove relevant and sourced content because of a theoretical concern about the psychological welfare of some people.

There are many articles that have information that some people find objectionable. Even on the brassiere article, one person wanted us to remove all of the photographs which he or she found obscene.

That said, if you feel strongly about it, the discussion page of the article is a good place to start. There you present your view of why the article should be changed, and then see what people say. Who knows, if you make a strong case, then other will agree. Mattnad (talk) 15:26, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
