There is no exception to the rule against edit-warring, because, as you've discovered, it is both disruptive and pointless- no one ever wins an edit-war. Instead, you stop reverting and decide together on the version that best follows Wikipedia policies. You can sign your posts with four tildes (~~~~) if you don't want me to have to keep signing them. I don't know which of you is correct at the moment, so I'm content to let you reach a consensus on it with other users when your block expires. Administrators joke that, no matter when you stop an edit war, someone will always say you left the article on the "wrong version." You both made the decision to edit-war rather than working it out like adults. You were fairly warned that you were about to be blocked for that. Now, you're both blocked, because you both made a decision to be blocked. Tomorrow, you both get to decide again.
