[edit]Hi, about this edit what is the reason of removing some content on Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka article? Please note that we are not here to promote any character or celebrity. Zafar24Talk 18:44, 7 October 2018 (UTC)
Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka
[edit]I am not promoting any celebrity, Main lead of the show is Drashti Dhami not Aditi Sharma...I changed it according to the character importance Tejaswi Nair (talk) 17:03, 8 October 2018 (UTC)
Sorry about that. But you removed some content of Aditi Sharma as Mauli on cast and characters section. That's why I said that.Zafar24Talk 19:03, 9 October 2018 (UTC)
Not constructive
[edit]This edit is not constructive. You asked a question here on 29 November about why the Star Parivaar awards were removed. I answered your question and explained that a discussion at WT:ICTF decided that Star Parivaar was not a suitable award for inclusion in biographical articles or TV articles, because it is a self-aggrandising award a network gives to people on its network. It is the intellectual equivalent of getting a "most handsome" award from one's own mother. So on what basis would restoring the Star Parivaar awards be a justifiable edit? [edit]Hi! It would be helpful if you'd please refrain from adding interpretive labels like antagonist/protagonist, main lead, supporting actor etc. as you've done [1]. The WikiProject Television community prefers that editors not do this. What you consider a "2nd male lead or supporting actor" might actually be considered a lead by the producers, and it's not our job to make these distinctions of our own interpretation. We could also surmise that the name(s) at the top of the list are probably more important, assuming they were ordered by the on-screen credits.
Please note that WP:TVCAST is the set of guidelines you should be following, as this represents widespread community consensus. And if you're interested in seeing a quality article that deals well with character and cast descriptions, please see List of Millennium characters. This is the goal we should be working towards. Thank you. Sid95Q (talk) 10:01, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
Drashti Dhami - Indian Television Academy Awards
[edit]Re: these edits, you added an award to Drashti Dhami's award list, namely the 2018 Indian Television Acaademy Awards, "Best Actor Female in Popular". Can you substantiate this addition with a reference? Because according to this source, titled "Indian Television Academy Awards 2018: Complete list of winners", Dhami's name does not appear on the list, and Surbhi Chandna won Best Actor (Female) Popular for Ishqbaaaz. Do you have an explanation for the discrepancy? Thank you, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:24, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
- I had not written that she won the Award. She was nominated for Best Actress popular. Aditi Rathore, Jennifer Winget and Rubina Dilaik are the other 3 who was nominated for this category. Total 5 actresses were nominated for this category. You can't edit the information without any sense. Tejaswi Nair (talk) 01:20, 13 December 2018 (UTC)
- Wikipedia works on reliable sources If you are not going to provide one The "information" you added could be challenged or deleted. Please provide a reliable source that she was nominated. Thank you. Sid95Q (talk) 03:12, 13 December 2018 (UTC)
- Tejaswi: Fair-enough on the won vs. nominated counter-argument--that was a reading failure on my part, but the content you resubmitted is yet again unsourced, which is not acceptable, and which has yet again been reverted. If you don't know how to add references, see WP:REFB. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 03:56, 13 December 2018 (UTC)
