Cisco Edits

[edit]

have tweaked, tried to be impartial, whilst giving exemplars, have added more to offer more info.

learning, ........

I really think the page doesn't have anywhere to go. I've nominated it for deletion, sorry. SimonLyall 21:11, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Just looking at your Cisco related edits they seem to be leaning a little close to being advertisements rather than providing solid information. Could you explain please. - SimonLyall 22:51, 11 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Teraknor page.

[edit]

Actually there are two schools of thought on the spelling, sadly.

have tweaked

I've asked the people on Wikipedia:WikiProject Star Trek to have a look. It probably should just be listed as an alternative spelling on the existing page. - SimonLyall 21:13, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Can you please got to Wikipedia:Speedy_deletions and request the removal of this page. The problem is that it is a misspelling of the correct name which is Terok Nor (which already has a page redirecting to the main page about the station). I'm asking you to request the deltion since it's quicker for you to do it than go though the whole procedure. - SimonLyall 23:06, 11 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image "tagging"

[edit]

Hi, please make sure all images you upload include a so called "copyright tag" template, unless the status is very obvious (such as a logo) "untagged" images will be deleted since we need to know the copyright status of material uploaded to the site. Thanks.--Sherool (talk) 01:04, 12 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Computing and Information Technology, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you feel that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Eggishorn 18:25, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]
Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:BFColorlogo.jpg. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 16:51, 12 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner. Proposed deletion of Cisco Packet Tracer

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Cisco Packet Tracer, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Non-notabel.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 08:06, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
