Use of categories on User pages[edit]
It is a general policy to prohibit the use of article categories on user pages. Yet when articles are being drafted on user pages there is a need to include the categories. This can be done by adding a colon in front of the Category name. I went ahead and made that edit for you. Also I went ahead and changed the category from Category:Education to Category:Educational programs. There may be additional categories that can be added, but it should not be added directly to any parent category. Thank you for your work on improving Wikipedia.
By the way, when you copy your article over to the article space, simple delete the colon in front of the category name. Dbiel (Talk) 02:52, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
