Your edits to NFL season lists

[edit]

I noticed that you make a bunch of edits to the NFL team season lists. As the primary contributer to the Giants list, I keep track of edits made there and noticed several issues with yours. You removed several awards, sortability, and dashes for blank rows, and introduced colors when other rows already had the same color. I would like an explanation as to why the awards removed do not merit inclusion in your eyes, and ask that you don't remove sortability or the dashes again. Sorting is a feature present in most featured lists such as this one and is very beneficial for the reader in a stat-heavy list like this one, while the dashes make the table look nicer and their absence would be noted at WP:FLC. We don't want 200 blank rows, after all. Also, the bolding you added goes against the Manual of Style and I removed it for that reason. I do thank you for thinking of adding the yearly team links, and agree that the italics you removed didn't look that great. Giants2008 (Talk) 14:42, 6 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Killzone shadow fall cover.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Killzone shadow fall cover.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:13, 14 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Xbox One image

[edit]

Unfortunately Wikipedia cannot use the official product shot that you uploaded, because a free image has been found for use in its place. There's a lengthy discussion on the talk page here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Xbox_One#Image_representation SynergyBlades (talk) 00:43, 20 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on File:Xbox one console.jpg, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. MASEM (t) 00:51, 20 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Why have you added a section for league to the table? That would only be useful for Edmonton and Montreal as those are the only two teams in their current location that have played in a different league. Deadman137 (talk) 04:45, 20 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Matt Ryan (American football) does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks!
