Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the Underground Football League article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

Feel free to re-submit a new version of the article. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I irrevocably release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later, for use on Wikipedia and elsewhere."

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. You can also leave a message on my talk page. (aeropagitica) 22:17, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You have recently re-created the article Underground Football League, which was deleted in accordance with Wikipedia's deletion policies. Please do not re-create the article. Final warning

[edit]

This is your last warning.
The next time you create an inappropriate page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - Lucky 6.9 03:07, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re. your article

[edit]

Hello. In order for a subject to have an article, there has to be an extremely high level of notability. Otherwise, this site would be a rash of vanity articles on every garage band, school group and college student in the world. Therefore, we have to be extremely choosy about what stays and what goes. Your group sounds like fun, but it's highly unlikely that a worldwide audience is going to look for info on it. Take a look at WP:NOT for a better explanation. I hope this helped. - Lucky 6.9 03:27, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The article you cited would be of extreme interest to someone who programs in Perl. There are a lot of very esoteric and specialized articles on Wikipedia; I've written a few myself, but I've been careful to choose my subjects. As far as your intention to simply keep reposting the content, it's (a) easy to keep the article from being recreated and (b) easy to revoke your edit privileges. As I suggested, please read the WP:NOT to learn more. - Lucky 6.9 03:37, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Being Blocked Sucks But I Must Defend My Own Honor And That of our Organization

[edit]

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

OK...one more chance on the following conditions. One, if this organization is as notable as you claim, reference the claims with verifiable sources. Two, no more personal attacks. I tried to help you and I was polite to you as well. Deal? - Lucky 6.9 03:54, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I still can't edit

Signing

[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --  Netsnipe  ►  04:42, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome aboard!

Mediation

[edit]

A mediation case has been opened in which your name is mentioned. I just signed up as a mediator, pending approval by the involved parties. Please take a look at Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal/Cases/User:Lucky 6.9 reverting his own Talk page. If you would like to be listed as a party, please write your name in the blue box. If you feel you are not involved, please remove your name from the list under "Who's involved?". (In this case, your name will only be allowed to be reinserted if a reason is given.) — Sebastian 22:33, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Update: The original case has been deleted by an involved party. I reported this incidend on administrators' noticeboard (now archived). Since I have not been asked by anyone to investigate this case, I will not pursue it any further. I'm not watching your user page anymore, so please let me know on my talk page if you have any questions or concerns. — Sebastian 20:11, 28 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If you believe an article should be deleted, please go about the procedure correctly by nominating it for deletion, instead of blanking the content. Blanking pages without good reason can be seen as vandalism, and may result in a block. Thank you.--Diniz (talk) 19:35, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, this policy violates Wikipedia:Do not disrupt Wikipedia to illustrate a point. I strongly advise you to stop blanking articles without nominating them for deletion, or you will be blocked.--Diniz (talk) 19:42, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
That's not how Wikipedia works. Look at the logo in the top-left of your screen: "Wikipedia - The Free Encyclopedia". Although donating money does help to provide more server space, it will not give you "privileges". The only person who can be said to have privileges is User:Jimbo Wales, and that's because he founded this website!--Diniz (talk) 20:14, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I didn't realise you left me another message recently. I'm not actually an administrator, and neither have I donated any money to Wikipedia (yet). If someone wants to become an admistrator, they or someone else nominates them at Wikipedia:Requests for adminship, and any wikipedian with an account who wants to can support, oppose or comment on the request.--Diniz (talk) 11:37, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
