March 2013[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I have noticed that some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Infestissumam, have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you to seek consensus for certain edits. Thank you. Myxomatosis57 (talk) 16:07, 13 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

June 2013[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to Asking Alexandria, without providing a source and without establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. Lukeno94 (tell Luke off here) 12:41, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

September 2013[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Mudvayne have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, you can use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Materialscientist (talk) 12:06, 12 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

To Lukeno94[edit]

Asking Alexandria show more post hardcore traits than heavy metal traits. Factual correctionsshould not be considered disruptive.

RE:Ghost[edit]

I assume that your knowledge about Wikipedia policies are minimal. Let me explain to you; we have this policy: Wikipedia:Neutral point of view. Based on this policy, we're supposed to source every statement that we include in the articles, like how we are supposed to cite other sources with the proper format (MLA, APA, etc.) in academic life. The sources should be credible third party sources. The statements which should be sourced include the music genres; if one person decides to alter the genres perpetually without proper explanation or consensus, we call him/her a genre warrior.

To sum up, do not make genre changes based solely on your own opinion. Your opinions are not credible enough to be cited in the articles, especially when there are proper sources that contradict your claim. You are probably not a music expert also; neither I am. Personally, I'm just trying to do what Wikipedia asserts me to do: adding sourced statements. Both stoner rock and doom metal genres are sourced; if you are offended by it, just start a talk page discussion instead of accusing other editors with ignorance and try to actually improve the article's content. Or you can just try to find sources that say that the band is not stoner rock etc.

Please do not make malicious edits based on your sole personal opinion unless you have a deep understanding about the actual Wikipedia policies. Thank you. Myxomatosis57 (talk) 16:56, 13 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Factually incorrect according to whom? Does the world revolve around your own personal opinions? Myxomatosis57 (talk) 18:54, 13 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

December 2013[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Helmet (band) may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "()"s and 2 "{}"s likely mistaking one for another. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • {{musical artist
  • celebrate-30th-anniversary-touring-australia-helmet|title = Terrorizer Magazine Helmet Melvins tour))</ref>

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 17:01, 6 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
