South Yosemite Horizon League moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, South Yosemite Horizon League, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Thanks for your contributions to South Yosemite Mountain League. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it has no sources. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. BangJan1999 16:23, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

August 2023[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into South Yosemite Mountain League. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Deletion discussion about South Yosemite Horizon League[edit]

Hello, TheGoldenWarrior, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username Actualcpscm, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, South Yosemite Horizon League, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/South Yosemite Horizon League.

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Actualcpscm}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

(Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Hello, TheGoldenWarrior,
This is actually a bundled nomination involving several articles you created. It would benefit you to participate in this AFD deletion discussion where you can present a good reason why thse articles should be retained in the main space. In general, it would help if you responded to messages on your talk page and communicated with other editors.
If you have questions about article creation or Wikipedia's deletion processes, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 01:51, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Northwest Sequoia League moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Northwest Sequoia League. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it has no sources. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 08:05, 3 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Northwest Sequoia League has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No claims of notability, and no references are being used. The event also failed WP:SPORTSEVENT as there is no lasting news coverage, but just routine reports from local news. Regular season games in professional and college leagues are not presumed notable.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ✠ SunDawn ✠ (contact) 02:59, 9 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
