Chasinghorse[edit]

Information icon Please do not remove information from articles, as you did to Quannah Chasinghorse. Wikipedia is not censored, and content is not removed on the sole grounds of perceived offensiveness. Please discuss this issue on the article's talk page to reach consensus rather than continuing to remove the disputed material. If the content in question involves images, you also have the option to configure Wikipedia to hide the images that you may find offensive. Stop changing the source to one that fails to mention Nathan Chasinghorse is her father, that is censorship of public information. His name spelled as "Nathan Chasinghorse" is a common spelling of his name per his article so there's no need to edit it.  oncamera  (talk page) 00:53, 9 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not removing information or disputed material, I am correcting it from legitimate published sources. According to numerous articles, ones that where cited and his Wikipedia page - His full name is "Nathan Lee Chasing His Horse". He "goes by Nathan Chasing Horse". A persons full name and the name/common spelling they go by are different things. People should be referred by their full names in their bios, not common spellings and what they choose to go by. His page says also known as "Nathan Chasinghorse". Quannah's article doesn't refer to her by her full name throughout either. Per WP:COMMONNAME, there's no need to make edits to what's currently there. Also there's no reason to change the source to one that fails to mention he's her father.  oncamera  (talk page) 01:11, 9 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes people should be referred to by their full names, not also known as. That is what is being corrected. Also why do you keep removing "biological father" when it is cited in the articles that are sourced? Please do not remove legitimate information that is in cited articles. TheRightStuff01 (talk) 01:19, 9 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
"Biological" is unnecessary. And Wikipedia uses the common name per the policy I linked.  oncamera  (talk page) 01:21, 9 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
"Biological" is quoted in many articles, the one that is linked on the page. Please don't remove information that is quoted and cited in legitimate sources. TheRightStuff01 (talk) 01:33, 9 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You're one to talk, thanks for finally reading the source.  oncamera  (talk page) 01:35, 9 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
