Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article The Rolling Stones: Havana Moon you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. 23:56:56, 6 September 2017 review of submission by Sydneyanja

@Sydneyanja: You left a blank message on my talk page, was this created by accident? If not, I cannot assist you any without a message with a question. --TheSandDoctor (talk) 06:18, 7 September 2017 (UTC)
@TheSandDoctor: Yes, that was by accident. I actually typed a question but it disappeared. Here it is: How many independent sources would you like to see for Metal United Down Under? We do have quite a range of announcements and articles from the international and Australian metal media but I didn't want to flood the entry. Sydneyanja (talk) 11:10, 7 September 2017 (UTC)
So you are involved with the group Sydneyanja? --TheSandDoctor (talk) 00:45, 8 September 2017 (UTC)
Is that a problem, TheSandDoctor? The project is running for some time and well-known in the Australian underground metal scene. It is a community project without financial gain for the initiators. Sydneyanja (talk) 04:45, 8 September 2017 (UTC)
@TheSandDoctor: That would be a conflict of interest, so please add the relevant template to the talk page of the draft (paid template for paid, or the non-paid editing one). As for references, there is no set number, but they must be notable and reliable. Typically, you are looking for major news coverage. --TheSandDoctor (talk) 04:58, 8 September 2017 (UTC)

While there is no doubt that "keep" is the outcome of this debate (with just two people arguing for deletion), it does not meet the criteria for a speedy keep. —Kusma (t·c) 17:27, 8 September 2017 (UTC)

@Kusma: I was just referred to the guidelines earlier via email but have not had a chance to go through and correct them. That particular discussion closing rationale has been adjusted. --TheSandDoctor (talk) 17:38, 8 September 2017 (UTC)
@Kusma: I have now gone through and I believe that I have fixed them all, let me know if I missed any, sorry about this. --TheSandDoctor (talk) 19:49, 8 September 2017 (UTC)
No worries, happy editing :) —Kusma (t·c) 19:53, 8 September 2017 (UTC)

Incomplete DYK nomination

Hello! Your submission of Template:Did you know nominations/Mick Jagger at the Did You Know nominations page is not complete; if you would like to continue, please link the nomination to the nominations page as described in step 3 of the nomination procedure. If you do not want to continue with the nomination, tag the nomination page with {{db-g7}}, or ask a DYK admin. Thank you. DYKHousekeepingBot (talk) 11:08, 13 September 2017 (UTC)

Fixed! :) Adityavagarwal (talk) 11:31, 13 September 2017 (UTC)
@Adityavagarwal: Thanks! I knew that it wasn't transcoded, just hadn't gotten around to finishing it (still haven't), trying to think of new hooks. --TheSandDoctor (talk) 22:39, 13 September 2017 (UTC)

Would you mind undoing your relist here? We edit conflicted as I was casting my !vote, which would likely have made the consensus clear for an admin. Thanks. TonyBallioni (talk) 01:36, 14 September 2017 (UTC)

@TonyBallioni: Certainly! I have undid the relist. --TheSandDoctor (talk) 01:45, 14 September 2017 (UTC)

1945 Rose Bowl score is incorrect.

Tennessee won the game 25 - 0 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.83.200.235 (talk) 17:31, 15 September 2017 (UTC)

@71.83.200.235: I have done a quick Google search and cannot find a reference supporting your claim of Tennessee winning 25-0 (and several disputing it), if you can find one, please do let me know. For future reference, if you have a reliable source to back up something like that and you see a factual error, you can be bold and fix it yourself as Wikipedia is a collaborative project that anyone can edit so long as they are not blocked/banned from the site. With that said, please do not do so unless you have a source to back it up. --TheSandDoctor (talk) 18:26, 15 September 2017 (UTC)

Hi, you're actually the second person to close this AfD as speedy deleted, but it still exists at Surya Hospital; Surya Hospitals (plural) was the one deleted G11, and the current article was created that same day. I've reverted and fixed the AfD header so it shouldn't happen anymore. ansh666 07:00, 16 September 2017 (UTC)

Sorry about that Ansh666, was just going off of the header and saw the red link so closed it. Thanks for fixing that in order to prevent it happening in the future. --TheSandDoctor (talk) 17:44, 16 September 2017 (UTC)
Nah, nothing to be sorry about. I should have fixed it after the first time anyways. ansh666 17:46, 16 September 2017 (UTC)

I disagree with the decision to relist again. The consensus seems fairly clear. Me-123567-Me (talk) 00:12, 17 September 2017 (UTC)

Agreed. Discussion closed. Primefac (talk) 01:50, 17 September 2017 (UTC)
@Me-123567-Me:@Primefac: Sorry for the delay in response. I had relisted it to further confirm/solidify the consensus but agree that I could (and should) have closed it as the consensus was fairly clear. For that you have my apologies. --TheSandDoctor (talk) 01:57, 17 September 2017 (UTC)
No worries, it happens. Primefac (talk) 01:58, 17 September 2017 (UTC)

Early Close of AfD for Originate

Hi, you closed AfD for Originate early - it must remain open for the full 168 hours. Also, Consensus is not based on a tally of votes, but on reasonable, logical, policy-based arguments and I see no indications that of any reasoning or logic for your decision to Keep. It should have been relisted. At best it should have been closed as a "No Consensus". I've checked the references and none meet the criteria for establishing notability and I intended to !vote "Delete". Can you please reopen this AfD since it was not allowed to run the full 168 hours and given the lack of debate, should not have been closed and was more appropriate to relist. Thank you. -- HighKing++ 13:40, 17 September 2017 (UTC)

@HighKing:  Done. --TheSandDoctor (talk) 17:13, 17 September 2017 (UTC)
Excellent, thank you. -- HighKing++ 18:58, 17 September 2017 (UTC)

DYK for Ali-A

On 21 September 2017, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Ali-A, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the creator of the popular YouTube channel Ali-A has been called a "YouTube megastar" by the BBC? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Ali-A. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Ali-A), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
