OK, at the moment not all the references have a retrieved date. We need that because websites change and die, with a retrieve date we have a chance of going to the internet archive and checking what the reference said at that moment in time. There are also some names that are linked externally rather than internally - I have changed one to a redlink. Generally we prefer redlinks where an article doesn't exist but would be worth creating as it helps build Wikipedia. ϢereSpielChequers 14:18, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again, I just opened your links. I am not entirely sure how to handle that information, of course I know Stuart, otherwise I couldn't really write about his work. If you let me know where I am supposed to disclose that, I will be happy to say that. With regards to payment, no, nobody is paid to do anything here, so that doesn't apply. Thank you again! Hello TheServingLibrary. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. The Serving Library is a non-profit collective, no contributions involved and no advertising! I suppose I used that username because I wanted to write a page about The Serving Library itself at some point, then didn't, but it felt important to write a page about Stuart; somebody else suggested that the page has too many details, is this the issue, perhaps? Happy to shorten it if it helps – it is my first page on wikipedia so I am not an expert, but I believe the block is an error, because there is no promotion or transaction involved here, just the fact that The Serving Library is a name we all use in the collective. (Non-administrator comment) I don't have anything to do with unblocking you, but please scroll up and read the WP:COI policy which you promised to read last year. You need to clearly disclose your connection (COI) to any subject you write about on Wikipedia. The COI policy also means that you will be expected to not edit the page on Stuart Bailey (one of serving library's founders). An admin will explain to you the problem with your username-- or you can read the notice above that also explains it. I read everything I have been sent throughout, I thought I replied to everything or edited accordingly? I thought the problem now was about receiving money for writing a page, which I didn't. I now understand that is not the problem. Okay. How do you suggest that I explain my relationship to Stuart Bertolotti-Bailey? How do I resolve the issue? I am confused and I probably need a simple instruction to follow. The Serving Library is a collective of 4 people, one of them is writing a page about Stuart, who is also one of them: I suppose this is the relationship to be disclosed? I am just not sure how. I fell into a rabbit hole about the COI and am totally confused about how I am supposed to disclose the information, I hope I can tell you here and you can add it pleasE? Or walk me through the steps. Sorry. I may not become a very productive wikipedia user anytime soon, clearly. The disclosure would read like so: the editor of this wikipedia page is affiliated with the subject by way of both being members of The Serving Library [mentioned on the page]. Would this work?
