Sockpuppet investigation[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. Hello. I have been blocked because I am found to be none other than User:Extremecia. And they have assumed that it is a policy violation. In truth, TheSmartOne2019 is a Clean start of Extremecia. I followed the instructions of that policy to the letter: # Extremecia had no outstanding blocks or bans # I put a Retired tag on the Extremecia user account # Ceased using it # Waited enough # Created and started using this account TonyBallioni did pressure me to disclose myself. In fact, I was doing so. He did not wait for me to finish. From his accusation to prejudiced conclusion of guilt, it took a very short time. (16:21 to 17:21 UTC) I had to consider whether TonyBallioni's request is valid because of the following part of the policy:

If you are not under Arbitration Committee sanctions, you are not required to notify anyone of your clean start.

I had to consider whether it is okay not to tell him, despite his insistence. After all, does a CU have the right to demand to know it in violation of the policy? Anyway, I never got around to think it through. Please note that not only I did not avoid scrutiny, I openly told TonyBallioni about my connection to Wikipedia. Decline reason:

The SPI related to this case includes compelling evidence that this account does not meet WP:CLEANSTART, including the not unlikely possibility that you are Codename Lisa. As admins cannot review the disclosures you made to Arbcom, I don't see how the block can be appealed here. As noted by TonyBallioni, the appeal will need to be made to Arbcom. Extremecia is currently blocked indefinitely, rendering a clean start impermissible. I'm still certain you are the same as (ex-)Codename Lisa, which also renders this abuse of multiple accounts since you may not avoid even potential scrutiny of your past behavior, which naturally arises when you a.vanished under a controversial situation and b.you draw attention to it by suggesting you've been here before.--Jasper Deng (talk) 19:04, 23 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Extremica had no outstanding blocks when the clean start commenced. The CU was never allowed to block it in the first place.

And like I said, Extremica is an alternative account that has ArbCom's blessing.

This is the first time you’ve ever mentioned declaring to ArbCom and you had multiple opportunities. I’m also not entirely convinced this qualifies as a clean start, and based on what Bbb23 has said, you’ve abusively edited logged out anyway. If you’ve declared to ArbCom, you should appeal to them.
