GA top icon

You played a huge role in helping get the Marjorie Taylor Greene article get up to GA, so you absolutely deserve the {{GA user topicon}} top icon! Side point, I didn't nominate it for DYK because that would've caused a literal sh*tstorm, but if I did I totally would've picked the Jewish space lasers thing as the hook lol! @Curbon7: Nah, it's alright. My thing is that – especially with an article about a subject so contentious – I don't want to even give the impression that I might've rubber-stamped anything just so I could have the badge. Basically, I don't want to give the appearance of a conflict of interest, even a minor one. That, plus many of the changes I made weren't pertinent to the GA review. Improvement for improvement's sake on such a heavily viewed article is rewarding enough. Besides, I'm actually currently waiting on a GA review of an article I wrote almost in full, and so I'll hopefully have a badge for that. And yeah, a DYK would've been interesting for sure. If I were nominating it for DYK, I would've actually gone with the fact that she owned a CrossFit gym; I thought that was really interesting, personally, and it's pretty innocuous. I really appreciate you sticking through the GA review; I sort of dropped off the face of the Earth for a while, which I feel bad about. TheTechnician27 (Talk page) 17:54, 11 August 2021 (UTC)
