Could I...

Hello! I was wondering if I could be almost a sort of "apprentice" to you guys (WikiProject Zoo and Mammal coordinators) on the weekends and late weekdays. I am probably, after you and ZooPro, the most active member of both projects, and I could get your requests done quickly if you are both busy. Regards, Belugaboy535136 contribs 00:27, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

I don't have problems with that, but check with ZooPro also. Cheers, The Arbiter 00:52, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
I take that back...I agree with ZooPro, this "apprentice" thing will not work. The Arbiter 00:16, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

Hello! I just wanted to let you know (if you didn't already) that ZooFari has joined WikiProject Zoo!. I left him a welcome message at his talk page. Regards, Belugaboy535136 contribs 13:25, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

Please review my article

Hello Arbiter! (Is this really ur real name? Wish I had known ur first name to address you more appropriately.:-) )

Can you please review my article? As per your last suggestions, I have tried to make the article less listy, have added one link about MaaS in media, and tried to rewrite the article in an non advertising tone. Please advise how much work I need to more do to make it go live. Thank you PCJain (talk) 10:09, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

WikiProject report 2-8-10: WikiProject Zoo

Hello! I'm doing this upcoming week's WikiProject report for WikiProject Zoo! Since I'm your apprentice, I only felt it was right to include me in the interview. Unless you don't want it, I'm fine with that. The discussion can be located at the Project's talk page. Hope you're Ok with this. Regards, Belugaboy535136 contribs 13:17, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

I am dealing with this mess on my talk page. ZooPro 13:49, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

Whenever you go online, enter my IRC channel in case ZooPro, me, and you need to ping each other. ZooPro will do the same. My channel is #ZF or you can access the link on my menu bar located in my talk page. Cheers, --ZooFari 04:52, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

Hello, coordinators of WikiProject Mammals!! Belugaboy535136, here. I was wondering if you would like to do an interview with the Wikipedia Signpost’s WikiProject report for the week of April 19, 2010? The questions are located here. Thanks! Belugaboy535136 contribs 00:53, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

UPDATE: ZooPro has answered the questions, I hope you will, as well! Belugaboy535136 contribs 13:15, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
UPDATE:I've added a new question and it goes to press in March instead of April. Belugaboy535136 contribs 12:56, 11 February 2010 (UTC)

Well...

Needless to say, I've just gone nuts for a while. Got my old name back, though, and glad I did too. And I've got to say, nice work with everything, keep it up. 00:53, 10 February 2010 (UTC)

Cheers

Assessments

I think you have been doing some reassessments lately. I have been going through and getting "Zoos of <state>" templates and the List of zoos in the United States up to date and matching, checking links, etc., and looking at articles. I would like to know why the Saint Louis Zoological Park article is rated B-class and the Denver Zoo article is only Start-class. I think one of these needs to be reassessed. I don't pretend to go beyond the difference between stub and start yet, and besides I'm an interested party for the Denver Zoo, so I can't do it. Could you take a look? thanks. Donlammers (talk) 13:22, 10 February 2010 (UTC)

Done i have already taken care of this. ZooPro 04:04, 11 February 2010 (UTC)

Creating an editnotice

Hello. I saw your discussion here. Would you like me to create the page for you? You could put what you want there in a new sandbox somewhere, then (as an account creator) I could attempt to move it to Template:Editnotices/Page/Wikipedia:WikiProject Zoo/Bulletin Board. I'm not sure if cross namespace moves like this work, but I'm willing to give it a shot.--Rockfang (talk) 09:15, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

Images

Hi. I know that we can only use certain images (fair trade, or something to that affect) on Wikipedia. I was just wondering what the details are of that, such as what that means and how one could tell if an image meets those standards? Thank you! --armoreno10 07:26, 17 February 2010 (UTC)

Additional Questions

Hi again, I just noticed that you said you'll be busy and no longer be editing Wiki. Does that mean you will no longer be able to be my adopter? If so, I am not offended, but understand and want to thank you for what you have helped me with in my first couple of months as a Wikipedia editor. Also, I had some questions related to rating articles. I know how to change the rating from a Stub up to a B (or anything else in that range). However, if I believe something is better than a B, what would be the process with that? Also, here I noticed that the articles were given scores. How are scores determined and what do they do? Is there anything I could do to contribute to that? Thank you again! --armoreno10 07:50, 17 February 2010 (UTC)

Howdy. If you think an article might exceed B class you could check the Good article criteria. If you think the article meets the Good article criteria then you could nominate it. With regards to your score question, more information can be found here.--Rockfang (talk) 08:47, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
The Arbiter is not gone for good he just has some personal issues in real life that need taken care off first. Article ratings are usually assigned by the WikiProjects so best to ask them first about rating articles that are under there banner. ZooPro 09:09, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
I was just wondering if it is possible to have multiple adopters? I'm asking since I know that it is possible to have multiple adoptees. Also, I know that different people may have extensive knowledge on different topics, so that may be helpful for certain occasions. If it is, I definitely would not mind still having you as my adopter. I hope you are doing well. Also, Thank you to Rockfang for your explanation with GA criteria, and thank you to ZooPro for your help with this and for your help in the past. You are awesome. Are you by chance looking for adoptees? --armoreno10 07:36, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
I see no reason why it is not possible to have multiple adopters as you say everyone has different skills and are experienced in different areas, I like to think i play my small part in helping editors by always being willing to guide and assist editors in helping them understand wikipedia, I learn alot aswell, I have looked into adopting in the past however I feel i would not be a good mentor as i would not be able to spend a great deal of time guiding and assisting any adoptees and that would be unfair to them as I am somewhat busy with the WikiProjects i work on and the articles i edit, however i am always happy to help if asked. Some editors are born mentors the rest of us try our best. I appreciate the thank you it is nice to know someone notices the work i put in. Kind Regards ZooPro 12:59, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
