Thanks for the Compliment!

[edit]

Hi Doppelganger,

Thanks for the compliment on my Wiki Photos! I really appreciate it, especially from other accomplished photographers. I like your shots of fighters, very nice! I was gonna post a stage shot of the porn stars Q & A session from Exxxotica LA, but I saw that your photo was much better than mine.

Keep up the good work, and thanks again!!

Articles

[edit]

--Cooly123 02:08, 22 August 2010 (UTC)Maybe we should try to find some online articles about the conventions. Also how do I get photos on here? Are you going to exxxotica this year?--Cooly123 02:08, 22 August 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, I've been looking for some articles about the conventions. I did find one that got into detail about the controversy in regards to the NY/NJ event in 2008, which I used as a reference. What I am finding a lot is that a lot of sites are just using Exxxotica's press releases as articles, and aren't providing any original articles. In regards to getting photos on Wiki, click on the toolbox tab on the left, and then upload file. I'm sure you will figure it out from there. I don't think the article really needs too many pictures, though. Too many pics can be a bad thing. Yes, it is in my plans to attend Exxxotica this November. I'm hoping to get a media pass. I'll see how that goes. The Doppelganger (talk) 21:33, 25 August 2010 (UTC) Dude whats your company? I want in on that media pass.--Cooly123 00:29, 28 August 2010 (UTC) Actually, I don't work directly for any website, I just do freelance work from time to time. The Doppelganger (talk) 01:16, 30 August 2010 (UTC) I just started a page for Can you be a Pornstar? (a 2003 ppv show) if you have any information to improve it.--Cooly123 22:58, 12 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

New York Comic Con

[edit]

Hi. Thanks for working to improve the site with your edit to New York Comi Con. However, the edit had to be reverted, because Wikipedia cannot accept uncited material. I know you don't edit here that often, but you've been doing so since 2007, and should know by now that Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the article text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here. If you ever have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks.
