ANI[edit]

Howdy hello! I see that you've made a few edits to WP:ANI. While anyone is welcome to comment constructively, your additions have not been very helpful. I would recommend you work on editing some existing pages and familiarizing yourself with our core tenants before getting involved in the backend of things. What topics are you interested in, maybe I can help point you to some resources? CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n! 18:49, 21 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Whatever does this imply? The Internet has gained sentience and I am its chosen representative (talk) 00:33, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The Internet has gained sentience and I am its chosen representative, It implies that your edits at ANI aren't helpful. With all respect, this is a brand new account with very few edits. Just jumping into our version of a courtroom with only having made two edits to content is foolish. Hopefully this block will encourage you to work on writing some content to build our encyclopedia. CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n! 02:22, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
This is truly confusing to me, harsh, and inappropriate. The Internet has gained sentience and I am its chosen representative (talk) 14:30, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I blocked you from editing exactly one page out of the tens of millions that we have. Find something else to edit. CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n! 15:18, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I truly do not understand this. It is heavy handed, inappropriate, and harsh. The Internet has gained sentience and I am its chosen representative (talk) 14:29, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

This request is too soon (try again in 3 months, maybe). I note that the request does not acknowledge the reason for the block. It is too terse to be useful. El_C 14:33, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Help! How do I have this inappropriate and capricious block of my legitimacy removed? Why is Wikipedia preventing me from participating in an earnest and legitimate way? The Internet has gained sentience and I am its chosen representative (talk) 16:53, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Of course you can participate: Wikipedia has over six million pages; you have been blocked from one. M Imtiaz (talk · contribs) 17:23, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
This "block" is inappropriate and not based upon any policy. It is arbitrary and capricious. The Internet has gained sentience and I am its chosen representative (talk) 18:41, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Administrators are given the power to block editors from editing either all or part of Wikipedia to protect the encyclopedia. Your edits at ANI were not helpful, you were being disruptive. Commenting at ANI after having made basically zero edits is not useful. Your comments showed you do not understand our core policies. Thus I blocked you from editing exactly one page. This is starting to feel like you are not listening. Please edit other pages in Wikipedia, like things you are interested in. For example, I write mostly about birds and plants. If you want help finding a topic to edit, I can connect you with the appropriate resources. CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n! 19:04, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
This "block" or in reality censorship is arbitrary and capricious. It is based in no policy whatsoever. It is unilateral, inappropriate, and must be overturned. The Internet has gained sentience and I am its chosen representative (talk) 20:10, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This is simply an attempt silence someone you dislike for whatever reason. It is not based upon any rule or policy, and it is arbitrary and capricious. The Internet has gained sentience and I am its chosen representative (talk) 11:59, 27 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
