AfD nomination of President of the Confederacy of Independent People[edit]

I have nominated President of the Confederacy of Independent People, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/President of the Confederacy of Independent People. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Proposed deletion of Vice President of the Confederacy of Independent People[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Vice President of the Confederacy of Independent People, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

WP:MADEUP

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Yes, but on Wikipedia you have to follow our policies or you are likely to be blocked. Ironholds (talk) 16:34, 12 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Shut up[edit]

I'm a foriegn diplomat. You can do nothing.

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with President of the Confederacy of Independent People. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. Proposed deletion of Vice President of the Confederacy of Independent People[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Vice President of the Confederacy of Independent People, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

WP:MADEUP position in a WP:MADEUP country. If bits of the USA had decided to go off and do their own thing we would have heard about it.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Titles[edit]

This Confederacy is an actually nation you need to leave me alone.

If the confederacy is an actual nation could you provide sources from other sites identifying it as such? Reliable ones, such as newspaper websites and the like. "Something you and your mates made up when bored" doesn't cut it for a nation to be described as legitimate, I'm afraid. Ironholds (talk) 16:45, 12 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Userpage[edit]

Per our policies, particularly WP:NOT#HOST I am afraid your userpage will also have to be deleted. Could you please add {{db-g7}} to the page to delete it, or I will be forced to send it to Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion instead. Ironholds (talk) 17:34, 12 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Considering he is blocked, it might be best to wait a month. Or, move it to a sub-page so it's not "out in front" then MFD it in a month. Of course, the best thing is for him to copy it to his local hard drive so he can upload it to his own wiki-style web-hosting-service then tell you it's okay to {{db-user}} it. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 22:41, 12 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
This editor hasn't been blocked from editing their own user pages. I agree that the user page should be deleted - it's not appropriate and obviously has no chance of becoming a viable article. Nick-D (talk) 00:39, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

I have blocked you for one month for creating hoax articles and harassing other editors. Nick-D (talk) 22:18, 12 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

MfD nomination of User:The Real American[edit]

User:The Real American, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:The Real American and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:The Real American during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Ironholds (talk) 10:31, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

How can I make a source?[edit]

I can't find out how to make other sources. This is the best I can. This is not someone we made up because we were bored. I made this confederation to change the US, and the world may one day, indeed be free. "I had a dream. A dream where minors can express their opinion without being oppressed all the time. The adults will listen to them and consider what's wrong with themselves, not the minors. And men where not frightened by being stalked by men who swing the other way. And Christians would not have to worry about being blown up from some rediculous religion problem." The Real American (talk) 15:18, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You don't "make" sources; sources are other organisations who, independently, feel you are important enough to mention you. See Wikipedia:Reliable sources for examples and types. Quite frankly the way you phrase it makes it sound like the idea was dreamt up by a twelve year old; I highly doubt CNN will be banging down your front door to get a news story any time soon. People announce "new countries" every 20 minutes, and 99% of them are not important enough to be included on Wikipedia. Ironholds (talk) 16:18, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No news stuff[edit]

I don't want the CNN talking to me. I just want to show I'm willing to defy the US and want to change America and maybe someday the world. I made this Confederation to change things, not gain fame. And I'm 16, thank you very much. The Real American (talk) 15:13, 18 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well if you want an article on Wikipedia you will need coverage by a notable source of news. Ironholds (talk) 13:49, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
