Image copyright problem with Image:Razorback.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Razorback.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. -- Carnildo 03:02, 2 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image Tagging Image:Bunny Y.JPG[edit]

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Bunny Y.JPG. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fair use image[edit]

Hello! I noticed that you had Image:Jyllands-Posten Muhammad drawings.jpg shown on your user page. The image is uploaded under a fair use provision, and Wikipedia policy states that fair use images should not be displayed on any pages outside the main (article) namespace, including user pages. Would you mind removing the image or simply linking to it? (Add a ":" in from of the image, like this: [[:Image:Jyllands-Posten Muhammad drawings.jpg]]) Thanks a lot! UArk Article[edit]

Hey there, a user named Dpbsmith left the following on my discussion section:

Continuing with my assumption that you are connected with UArk... many universities have official "archivists" or "historians," often affiliated with the library, and it might be worth the effort of trying to meet with one and get some suggestions on where to go for material for the UArk history section. You might ask about this rather odd-sounding statement that comes up in a Google book search for "frederick rudolph" "university of arkansas" fayetteville:
The new university spirit was likely to turn up almost anywhere, and in 1884, although the president of the University of Arkansas actually rejected it, he publicly charged that two subversive-minded faculty members had imported from the University of Virginia the two habits that were doing Arkansas the most harm: high standards of scholarship and faculty neglect of student conduct outside the classroom.
Dpbsmith (talk) 15:25, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I graduated from Arkansas, but unfortunately I no longer attend, or live anywhere near the University. I thought I would pass on his comments to you because I had the feeling that you might still attend, and since you were the one that recommended the article to be featured. Quit It[edit]

Quit referring to yourself in the third person in your user page profile job. It is annoying. Hüsker Dü kicks ass

Gadsby[edit]

The reason the Gadsby article said "typing contraction" instead of "typewriter" is that the article itself was written without e's, as you may have noticed. As this has been causing some annoyance recently (and has always caused some horrible ugliness in the article), and is clearly not terribly encyclopedia-like, I'm going to do away with this throughout the article. Let's see if it lasts. Robin Johnson 16:16, 2 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Uncertain[edit]

I am not quite sure of what to make out of your quest agaisnt numerous trivia sections. True, some trivia may be in ill nature or have no purpose of existing on Wikipedia. Also, the term trivia may be the incorrect one. However, I strongly believe that something that outlines numerous little tidbits of facts that can not cleanly fit into an article should exist. It seems in the best nature of placing things that are relevant but don't flow with the whole article. The trivia section is similar to having a conversation with someone about a prelevant issue and they add, "Oh, did you know...?" I strongly believe trivia should exist but underneath a whole new term. Please leave your opinion on my talk page. Yanksox 18:40, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I see where you are coming from. However, some of the pages (i.e. Krusty, US Presidents) the pieces of "trivia" are actually outlines of certain facts (Presidents that had assination attempts, voting results, etc.). It is somewhat troubling seeing both sides, trivia can seem something that is unprofessional, however, it is extremly useful maybe under a different title. Yanksox 18:49, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

So, that warrants outright removal? Why not just change it or add a cleanup tag?Yanksox 18:55, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It seems that the only thing you have against trivia is the title is goes under. If the sections were instead titled "Interesting facts" it seems you would have no problem with them, which is, in fact, what is meant by the word "trivia" in those cases (even though, as you pointed out, the real meaning of "trivia" is the opposite). Anyways, I hope that you return to every article in which you have moved the trivia and check to see the progress of integrating the information into the article after some time has passed. Qutezuce 21:29, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! You have quite correctly presented the case for deletion of the article Kolkata trivia in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kolkata trivia. Despite being one of the main contributors in the article, I agree with the proposal for deletion.(I have not voted yet though). However, I would like to incorporate some interesting facts in some other article related to Kolkata. I just want a suggestiom. As incorporating may be a time-consuming matter, should I keep the article in a subpage of my userpage? I dont think such a subpage would be put for AfD! Also, usually how much time is given before an article is on AfD and is deleted? Regards.--Dwaipayan (talk) 19:05, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, ok, I have copied the article in my user subpage. I will take some time to see if I can find out some way ro avoid the AfD. I do not see any hope though! The case is just too perfect. Really, wikipedia should not contain such articles. Regards.--Dwaipayan (talk) 19:30, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Look, I still am very impressed with the way you presented the case for deletion. However, it is after the comments by Hornplease that there are more trivia articles, I changed my vote. I also admit that by definition, encyclopedia is not a place for trivias. What about other trivia pages? Have you/anybody else tagged those?--Dwaipayan (talk) 20:12, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I was watching other trivia pages that have been put for AfD. IMO all the articles should be deleted. However, consensus is not building up. Also, in most of the cases, these trivia articles were created to make main articles less congested. So merging is often not possible always. For example, Kolkata is an FA, and it would be difficult, if not impossible, to merge. So is the case with some other articles. What do you think? Can we change the names? Say, "Interesting facts on xyz"? It sounds childish! What is your opinion on creating a section called "Trivia" under a related article, say, in case of Kolkata, History of Kolkata and Kolkata culture, and then merge the trivia points accordingly? This can be at least a temporary measure, with a view to do away with that "Trivia" section eventually, when incorporating those facts within already existing sections would done. I am telling this because incorporation, where possivle, is going to take long time.--Dwaipayan (talk) 12:18, 2 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia[edit]

Ok, so your argument for trivia that should be included in Wikipedia is that it is wrong to include it in some sort of list form and instead should be incorporated into the articles prose. The problem with this is that some information is simply presented better in list form then by unnaturally forcing it into prose. Qutezuce 19:50, 2 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that trivas done in list forms do look better, if done corectly otherwise they look stupid Samaster1991 09:30, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your compliments. My interest and participation in politics has flourished (I suppose you can saw "come of age") in President Bush's second term, and resources like The Week have reminded me of important related major issues and events in that time period. I noted such things that I figured might be of use and largely worked from there using my knowledge. I tried to be as appropriately comprehensive and impartial as possible, often with the aid of Wikipedia articles already written. I hope the article does not grossly lack references or a satisfactory reference style, the latter the morely likely of the two. I so far have not uploaded any images to Wikipedia, one or two more of which the 2006 events section may benefit from in particular. So I hope my work is not too unorthodox or unpolished, but I think it important to get the information out there on this increasingly reputable and used encyclopedia, in as encyclopedic fashion as possible; I certainly couldn't say whether my work deserves an award, especially when it makes assertions that may very well demand ommitted references or not be appropriate to Wikipedia, for example the effect the Cheney hunting incident had on the vice president's relationship with Bush, which I felt was true, notable, and widely said.

By the way, may the best team win today in the football game hosted by the University of Arkansas against the University of Southern California; from appearances I expect you'll be at the stadium. Enjoy!

Oh, and I greatly respect politically and intellectually one of Arkansas' proudest products, Bill Clinton. Minutiaman 07:41, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've nominated a page you have editted for Deletion: Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/GBStv_(second_nomination) --Quirex 19:32, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Updated DYK query On 19 December, 2006, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article World's longest lasting lightbulb, which you created. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the "Did you know?" talk page.

ERcheck (talk) 21:42, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What happened that the article was featured on DYK? I gave up on it because I thought that it was too old. It was a fascinating topic, and I would have continued sourcing and researching it had I known it was eligible. Royalbroil T : C 03:28, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I know the current name, as I did the move. I was wondering about the elgibility. I looked through the history of DYK suggestions, and no more comments appeared on the article. I guess the admin who loaded the suggestions either felt it was worthy anyhow, or missed my comment. Cheers! Royalbroil T : C 14:48, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
An article appears on DYK for around 8 hours only. There are too many nominations for it to appear longer. I wish I had the time to help this fascinating article, but I'm helping form WikiProject Motorsports right now, and I was proposing another (WikiProject North American Motorsports or WikiProject American Motorsports) as you left the message. I do have the article on my watchlist, so I may get inspired later to help. One thing that would need to be changed is that the list of other lightbulbs needs to go, as it is off topic. I might be best to move the list by creating a list article, say "list of the world's longest burning lightbulbs". Cheers, and happy editing! Royalbroil T : C 15:06, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A request for assistance[edit]

Would you support the concept of moving the Earhart "myths" to a separate page or article? The reason for my suggesting this is that the main article should be an accurate and scholarly work while the speculation and conspiracy theories surrounding the disappearance of Amelia Earhart are interesting, they belong in a unique section. Most researchers, as you know, discount the many theories and speculation that has arisen in the years following her last flight. Go onto the Earhart discussion page and register your vote/comments...and a Happy New Year to you as well. Bzuk 03:02 3 January 2007 (UTC).

About the GWB term articles[edit]

I just wanted to drop you a note to say I hope you understand where I am coming from with the suggestion and concern; and know that I totally respect the work and writing you did on those pages. In other words, its nothing personal. Perhaps I have a different view of Wikipedia. In any case, know that I am not planning any drastic edits there of my own, would not do so without notice, and on something so big am just trying to get people thinking to get to consensus before any changes are made. Ultimately, I would not want to waste all the work you did but would think the best/different stuff would be merged into the main article and a lot of your detail would be merged into one of the other many GWB articles (see the list of some of the other daughter articles I put on the talk page). Be well.-JLSWiki 20:19, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Texas[edit]

The thing is, every state will eventually need its own page, these are almost lists that might never end. I did some research on Texas ghost towns and know for a fact that the Texas list will get extraordinarily long. However, if you like it better not giving Texas a list that's fine too, but it will eventually get a list no matter how much you may or may not hate Texas and some or all of its residents.A mcmurray 16:02, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I realized it was out of good faith, I was merely explaining my rationale along with trying to insert some wry political humor, I didn't mean to imply that you actually hated Texas or Texans.A mcmurray 16:34, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Hokpkins Nixon 3.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Hokpkins Nixon 3.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. I've nominated What is black and white and red all over?, an article you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that What is black and white and red all over? satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion; I have explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/What is black and white and red all over? and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of What is black and white and red all over? during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Mistretta v. US, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Image tagging for Image:Eddie1.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Eddie1.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

class notes[edit]

Your subpages of "Class notes" on various topics are an impermissible use of User space on WP. WP is not a web host. You can ask to have them deleted at WP:CSD. DGG 22:44, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I just read through your user page after responding to your current FAC and I came upon this article. While a good article, it seems the quality standards have risen since it was promoted. I was wondering if you could look into properly formatting the references, adding more of them, and citing them properly in the article. It's a good article and I just wanted to give you a heads up. JHMM13 03:30, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ask away! I should get back to you within the next 24 hours. JHMM13 13:53, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
As the other person said on my talk page, there are various citation templates for different kinds of sources. Use the ref system, you can repeat the use of a source. Try to model whatever you do on what the standard is. Since I can't think of any other off the top of my head, my FA was just promoted several days ago. Domenico Selvo is the article and if you scroll down to the bottom, you can see how I handled the referencing. Also notice the spacing of inline citations within the article. For that article, that is just about the right amount of spacing for refs (nobody commented on the amount of references in the FAC). The more controversial/current your article gets, the more likely you'll need more sources and more citations because they are easier to come by. The person in your FAC mentioned you need "70-80 inline citations," but I hope that now after explaining this to you you realize it's a bit odd to put specific quotas on the amount of inline citations. JHMM13 17:26, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

long time[edit]

Hey stu! nice to see you again; hope everything is good with you :). I don't come here anymore, haven't been here for about a year. Last article I worked on (Loung Ung) I had a long argument with a professor who thought his words were God's words, and I said "fuck this". And there's an argument among peers about everything and the rules are forever changing; I don't have time for this nonsense (crap is a better word). Because you didn't respond to my last few attempts at communication, I gave up on you. Figured I was just bothering you. Talked to you a lot over a long period of time, and expected more than just silence from you. Sorry bud, but I don't care to waste my time. But thanks for finally sayin' "hi".--RogerK 21:07, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

FA[edit]

The article achieved FA status because some people who had the authority to do so decided it was worthy at the time. It was well written, informative and accurate. Who the hell cares if it loses FA status? Do you think that those who research the article care about its status? Everything in it at the time of its FA rating was true, and could be verified through the references. I won't bother to address any new issues; I'm satisfied with what was, and the way it was presented. --RogerK 06:28, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Arkansasrazorback2.PNG[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Arkansasrazorback2.PNG. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Unspecified source for Image:Arkansasrazorback2.PNG[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Arkansasrazorback2.PNG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 08:50, 16 May 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

License tagging for Image:Count guy.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Count guy.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 17:06, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

Proud to be your friend[edit]

Hey Stu :)) I guess you're about to end your second year now at the U. Seems that the year has made a difference in your life :). Don't know how it happened, but reading you now is a pleasure. Guess college is workin' for you, and that's really grand. Big smile on my face. If I can help, I will. But, as usual, I don't have a lotta time available. I don't think that multiple sources can be cited; the historicity of most of the article is based on but one source and his research. And some of his research may not be verifiable, unless you live in Arkansas and have money to invest in old records. Lol :) I don't know what the citation objections are to this article in Wikipedia; please direct me to them. Love you bud.-RogerK 01:33, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Monte Ne citations[edit]

First of all, great work on the Monte Ne article. Though at times I get the feeling like the article is becoming the perennial candidate, a la William Jennings Bryan, I think it will eventually get the star.

That said, for the references, why don't you use the standard citation templates, like {{cite news}}, {{cite web}}, etc. for the references? That would lend some uniformity to the citations, thus making it more clear and better visually. Let me know what you think. SchuminWeb (Talk) 23:06, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image source problem with Image:Duck Amuck.gif[edit]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Duck Amuck.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use.

If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 08:44, 22 August 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ilse@ 08:44, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Gang wars.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Gang wars.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:36, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Lists of clichés[edit]

Lists of clichés, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Lists of clichés satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Fair use rationale for Image:Jetsons.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Jetsons.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Joey Cramer[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Joey Cramer, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Joey Cramer. A tag has been placed on User:/The stuart/List of films with TV shows and other films in them, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

This is obviously a mistake made by User:The stuart. The Correct link is User:The stuart/List of movies with TV shows and other movies in them.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on [[Talk:User:/The stuart/List of films with TV shows and other films in them|the article's talk page]] explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Magioladitis (talk) 13:07, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I have merged the history of the above into User:The stuart/List of movies with TV shows and other movies in them so that you have access to the information if you need it. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:46, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nonsense of Frank v. Maryland[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Frank v. Maryland, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Frank v. Maryland provides no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Frank v. Maryland, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Speedy deletion of The American Princes[edit]

A tag has been placed on The American Princes requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
