Hello. I've removed Neil Baldwin from the 'Famous alumni' section of the above article twice. He's not an alumnus, and I don't think he's sufficiently notable either. - mholland 19:24, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
- Please reconsider your adding of Neil to the alumni list. Consider if he is notable enough to merit an article of his own: I don't think he is, because he is insufficiently notable outside the limited circles of Keele University and Stoke City. If he does not merit a bio of his own, then he is surely not notable for the purposes of a Famous alumni section.
- Google hits for "Neil Baldwin FC" (3 hits) and "Neil Baldwin" "kit manager" (8 hits) confirm this.
- He also does not belong in a list of alumni, because he is not an alumnus - I'm not being snobbish and it's not my definition of alumnus, it's the dictionary definition.
- Please remove him from the alumni list at Keele University and consider creating Neil Baldwin (if you still think he's sufficiently notable) or adding him to Stoke City F.C. (but not as a famous player!). - mholland 11:14, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
