About the mars volta pages you have been making

[edit]

Wikipedia is not a website where you create pages for songs just for your own musical opinion. Pages should only be made for factual information. Please stop creating these pages just to summarize how the songs goes. Tollanddrummer (talk) 17:16, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tollanddrummer is quite correct. Articles must be sourced to reliable sources, not your original thought, and are not for fan pieces. There are plenty of free web hosts out there which will allow you to put up fan pieces or personal opinion, and I will be happy to help you locate one if that is what you wish to do; however, all articles here must be strictly neutral, without exception. Please feel free to contact me if you need any assistance in compliance with these policies. Thank you. Seraphimblade Talk to me 21:43, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mad As Rabbits

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Mad As Rabbits, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Mad As Rabbits. License tagging for Image:Essentials.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Essentials.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 23:06, 10 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and, again, welcome to Wikipedia! I've noticed you've added a couple articles to Wikipedia which refer to subjects to be released in the future which have little coverage. This is considered crystal balling and is against Wikipedia policies and guidelines. Wikipedia articles must be notable and verifiable or they may be deleted at any time. I would ask that you read the guidelines quoted above before creating anymore pages referring to events in the future. Thanks! Redfarmer (talk) 00:41, 3 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Untitled (Zechs Marquise album)

I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Untitled (Zechs Marquise album). Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Wikipedia. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 05:30, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of Speedy Deletion Tag

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you.

AfD nomination of Diazepunk

[edit]

An article that you have been involved in editing, Diazepunk, has been listed for deletion. If you are interested in the deletion discussion, please participate by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Diazepunk (2nd nomination). Thank you. Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Hello, and thanks for creating this article. It's been tagged for notability for several years. Could you please look at WP:NALBUMS and look the article over? Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 21:36, 6 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Nominated article at AfD

[edit]

Hey Themarsvoltafan, I've nominated an article that you created, Que Sentimiento, for deletion. If you are interested in the deletion discussion, please participate by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Que Sentimiento. I felt it was appropriate to let you know, as the article's creator. I spent a few minutes trying to find sources to help it pass WP:N but after being unable to do so, took it to WP:AFD. Thanks! Proposed deletion of Revento

[edit]

The article Revento has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Long time unreferenced album tagged for notability for 6 years now

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
