Requested move[edit]

The following discussion is an archived discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: procedural close as creating articles from userpage drafts is outside of the scope of WP:RM. Try WP:AFC instead. Armbrust, B.Ed. WrestleMania XXVIII The Undertaker 20–0 21:03, 28 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

User:Theoa/ThreejsThree.js – The official name of the JavaScript library is "Three.js" [1].

When I attempt to move the page, the following message appears:

The page could not be moved: a page of that name already exists, or the name you have chosen is not valid. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Theoa (talkcontribs) 18:35, 28 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

See Backbone.js and Processing.js for JavaScript libraries with similar naming conventions as used in Wikipedia.

Please note that the former article for [Three.js]] was deleted because of "Fails WP:GNG".

This draft article is part of my effort to learn how to write articles that meets or exceeds normal Wikipedia guidelines. Theoa (talk) 06:51, 28 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move: further discussion[edit]

Armbrust, B.Ed. quite rightfully pointed out that I was requesting a new article. I should have written the request as: User:Theoa/Threejs → User:Theoa/Three.js. My bad. In any case, I am now beginning to understand more about the issues of including ".js" in the title of a user page. So nothing more need be done on this until it becomes clearer whether this article becomes notable and neutral enough to progress to submission as an article.

More details on this issue are available at: User_talk:Theoa/Three.js
