[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Barnett Shale has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://txsharon.blogspot.com/2008/02/fort-worth-citizens-rise-up-against.html (matching the regex rule \bblog(?:cu|fa|harbor|mybrain|post|savy|spot|townhall)?\.com\b). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 03:26, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Connor fitzgerald, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. I see you have also created the same article in 2006. [1] Entryhelp (talk) 05:15, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Connor fitzgerald. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. ttonyb (talk) 05:22, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with Connor fitzgerald. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. ttonyb (talk) 05:23, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you remove a speedy deletion notice from a page you have created yourself, as you did with Connor fitzgerald, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. ttonyb (talk) 05:23, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Barnett Shale

[edit]

The minutia of the impact of exploitation of the Barnett Shale in the Fort Worth area overwhelms the article, and appears to serve one side of the debate. A daughter article would be warranted rather than a wall of text advocating for one side of the discussion. Acroterion (talk) 11:58, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please discuss this on the article talkpage, bearing in mind that this is an article on a geological formation, and that issues relating to drilling in Fort Worth should be subordinate to the subject. There is room for discussion of the subject, but you are cutting and pasting copyrighted content into the article (in the form of unattibuted or poorly attributed quotes) in violation of Wikipedia policy on copyright, and the content is clearly intended to influence the article away from a neutral point of view. Please stop and discuss. Please also refer to the Wikipedia policy on edit-warring and on the use of multiple accounts and IPs to insert identical material so that it looks like it's coming from different sources. Acroterion (talk) 14:53, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Acroterion (talk) 15:04, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I appreciate you coming to the talk page to discuss our concerns; that doesn't mean that the article ought to be gutted to a stub - it is a B-class article with substance and sourcing. Acroterion (talk) 15:34, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
