Request reason:

I want another chance. I made some mistakes, which I regret. I only made that one edit not because I wanted to, but out of stress. I was only venting. I've been on Wikipedia since the very time I started out. Truth be told, I actually should have known better than to make those other edits that weren't approved of. You might not have to have it if you want, but I'm just telling you that I only want to contribute as any other contributor. And I want to make right for what I've done wrong.

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 13:15, 12 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You are blocked for sockpuppetry. You need to address that in your unblock request. --Yamla (talk) 13:32, 12 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Updated.Therainbowsend (talk) 13:35, 12 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Do not do that. You are not permitted to modify (or remove) declined unblock requests for existing blocks. You are free to create a new unblock request but let's be honest here. Your block evasion combined with your vandalism means the chances anyone's going to lift your block are slim at best. You've shown, over and over again, that you cannot be trusted. Your only real hope now, and it's slim given your history of abuse, is to wait six months without any edits at all, then apply under WP:SO. --Yamla (talk) 13:41, 12 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Fine. It's hard to reason with admins anyway. Therainbowsend (talk) 13:44, 12 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You were blocked for vandalism under the username Wooeyparks, and you continued this vandalism under Sanadate, among others. For the next month after Sanadate was blocked, I was still cleaning up your vandalism. It took a while, but I think I got all of it. I don't think you realize how annoying that was. Your latest sock puppet, Therainbowsend, seemed to mostly contribute constructively, so I did give you a second chance. In March 2016, I found more of your vandalism. I'm not going to link to it because it was from one of your IP socks, and I don't want to publicly out you. That was your third chance. You blew multiple chances by going right back to vandalizing the encyclopedia. As the person most responsible for cleaning up your mess, I think I've been very reasonable, have given you more chances than most people on Wikipedia get, and have been pretty fair. If you weren't doing anything wrong, I left you alone – even though I knew you were evading your block. So, how is that "unwilling to give second chances"? What you are asking for now is clearly more like a fourth chance, at the minimum. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 02:37, 23 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I was wrong to type that in. And I realized that I blew it, which I shouldn't have done and I regret doing so. I'm very serious about wanting another chance. I am truly sorry. I want to start over.Therainbowsend (talk) 02:53, 23 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I see three options.
  1. You continue to post to this talk page, making unblock requests that will likely be denied.
  2. You wait six months without any sock puppetry and ask for the standard offer. There's no guarantee that you'll be unblocked, but the number of constructive edits you've made as Therainbowsend would certainly count in your favor. If the unblock request sounded sincere (and there were no sock puppets found in the meantime), I would support unblocking you.
  3. You ask someone to take your unblock request to the administrators' noticeboard and have the community make a decision instead of the administrators. This has a much better chance of success if you wait six months without sock puppetry, as above.
Or, I guess, we can continue like we have been: you create a sock puppet, and I find it within several hours. That seems like a huge waste of time, though, and I'm eventually going to start doing range blocks. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 03:18, 23 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I really mean it. I want to turn over a new leaf. I messed up big time and I want to clean this mess up. Therainbowsend (talk) 03:20, 23 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You have not demonstrated this yet. In any case, there's no reason for you to use this talk page so I'm locking it down. Any unblock request must be made with your original account and must note this and other accounts set up in violation of WP:SOCK to evade your block. --Yamla (talk) 12:02, 23 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
