Request reason:

I was not aware of the policy for my user name. I would like to just change it so that I am within your regulations for having an account. I meant no harm or anything by creating an account with my company name. Just an oversight on my part by not making myself aware of the rules. Accept reason:

Renamed and unblocked, welcome back. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 18:56, 19 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I am trying to get an answer to a question about rights to pictures. If Mr. Billy Alsbrooks sent an email himself as owner of the pictures would that be sufficient enough to get his page approved? Here is the ticket number for the email communication I have had. Re: [Ticket#2019031810001264] I have not received a response in a while so thought maybe I could try here. Thank you for any help you can give me.

Hi, Judging from your previous username and the contents of the article that you wrote, I strongly recommend that you read and comply with WP:PAID. Please note that creating heavily promotional articles may lead to an indefinite block. Thanks. --Randykitty (talk) 08:20, 18 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Randy...this is my first time using this platform and so I am learning as I go. I want to comply with the rules so if you could maybe help me out by giving me a day or two to revise my writing and also figure out what is wrong with the pics that I posted I would greatly appreciate it. Or I guess I could delete the content and just leave the title page...would that be acceptable? And I have been trying to get help with the pics for weeks now...would you be able to point me in the right direction? Thank you! Thomas Dawn (talk) 08:27, 18 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • I see that you already got feedback about the images at the Help Desk. However, they are currently on Commons, which is a different wiki with different rules. As the images are not used at this point, they are out of scope on Commons. The article that you wrote here was horribly promotional and unencyclopedic. If you want to contribute here, I recommend that you start with editing existing articles and only when you have a better feel for what is acceptable here try creating new articles. --Randykitty (talk) 08:34, 18 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
