Insulosity moved to draftspace - needs to be developed beyond mere dicdef, otherwise a shoo-in for AfD; also needs more references, currently only one factoid supported[edit]

An article you recently created, Insulosity, is not suitable as written to remain published. The content currently consists of a dictionary definition, and needs to be expanded/developed further to warrant an encyclopaedia entry. The article also needs more citations from reliable, independent sources, as currently only one statement is supported. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 09:29, 19 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I've moved your article to drafts, and just wanted to explain that I've done so purely in order to rescue it, as the other alternative (as I see it) would have been to propose deletion or take it to the WP:AFD process. The problem is two-fold: 1) the single sentence in the article only defines the term, which is something you would normally include in a dictionary, not encyclopaedia; I think there is scope for further development, though, and I'm hoping you can expand on that - and 2) there is only one source, cited only once, which effectively leaves most of the article unsupported. If I can help in any way, or if you would like me to elaborate further on any of this, please ping me back (or visit my talk page). Cheers, --DoubleGrazing (talk) 09:37, 19 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
