January 2019[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Grant Buist has been reverted.
Your edit here to Grant Buist was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://twitter.com/Fitz_Bunny) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Photo problem[edit]

My suggestion is just to upload the good photo right now, under a different name. The only purpose of the name is to tell one photo apart from another; there's no reason to conserve any particular name. There are lots of blurry photos in Commons that will never be used, and you can just leave it there if you want (though I see you've submitted a deletion request). Museums upload hundreds of thousands of unusable collection photos and nobody seems to care, so your one photo is not going to do any harm! —Giantflightlessbirds (talk) 20:32, 25 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Theroadislong: Thank you for such a prompt review, and for helping me realise I should've looked up the guidelines before attempting my submission. I suspect having released two albums on Fiction Records means Pumarosa meet the 5th criterion in the WP:NBAND list, but I think I should be able to find enough references to satisfy the first one in the list as well, so I will work on that (when I can - not straight away sorry).Thorndonite (talk) 07:23, 15 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Thorndonite! Just thought you might like to know that Pumarosa has finally passed the AfC gauntlet. I found a copy of your draft at en.everybodywiki.com/Pumarosa, which seemed like it was good enough. So I was surprised to see that it hadn't met the notability criteria, then had been automatically deleted for inactivity under G13. A few tweaks after undeleting (including a notability re-assessment), it's been promoted to main. But honestly you and User:Oltrepier did 90% of the work here, you should add it to your list of created pages 🙂 Preimage (talk) 15:23, 12 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That's great, thank you so much @Preimage! I really appreciate the effort you & @Oltrepier have put in to make sure what I put in originally didn't go to waste 😊 Thorndonite (talk) 07:03, 14 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
