April 2016[edit]

Hello, I'm Qpalzmmzlapq. I noticed that you recently removed all content from 2016 NRL season results with this edit without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, I restored the page's content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. –Qpalzmmzlapq T C 20:31, 24 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi TimDHill92, I have moved the 2017 NRL page to your user space, at User:TimDHill92/2017 NRL season. Feel free to continue working there. If you have any queries, please don't hesitate to let me know. Thanks  — Amakuru (talk) 18:57, 3 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, yeah I knew that was going to happen and thanks you for moving it. TimDHill92
User:TimDHill92/2017 NRL season is a problem because it has far too many templates and they are causing an error, and the page is in the error tracking category (Category:Pages where template include size is exceeded). Surely there is no need for such a gigantic page, particularly given how slow it is even to view the page. By the way, you might like to review WP:TP for information about signing talk-page messages. February 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Grayfell. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Barker College, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Please note that the verifiability policy mandates that unsourced material that has been challenged, such as by a "fact" tag, or by its removal, may not be added back without a reliable, published source being cited for the content, using an inline citation. The cited source must clearly support the material as presented in the article, and the burden is on the person wishing to keep in the disputed material. So if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so, following these requirements! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Grayfell (talk) 08:18, 10 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hey. I wanted to add the musical productions to the Barker College article because I'm a formally student and I do have it correct because I was a student at the school and have the facts...

Hello. Info added to Wikipedia must be verifiable. It's also not clear why the list of musical productions belongs in the article at all. This is usually considered too trivial. If you can find reliable sources which discuss this part of the school's history, you should propose changed on the article's talk page. Thanks. Grayfell (talk) 08:29, 10 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Grayfell. I was a student at Barker College since form 2001-2009. So I know what musical productions have been.....

That doesn't matter. Read WP:V. Verifiablity is a core part of Wikipedia. We don't just take your word for it. Also, why does this belong in the article at all? It's trivia, and the article already has too much of that as it is. Please also read WP:BRD and discuss on the article's talk page, Talk:Barker College. Grayfell (talk) 08:36, 10 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Grayfell. Hey how can I prove that it's true? because it's is...

I believe you, but that's not the problem. You must use reliable sources anyway. That's just how Wikipedia works. If it's not published by reliable sources, it doesn't belong on Wikipedia. Even if it is published by sources, it still might not belong. See Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not. Grayfell (talk) 08:45, 10 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Grayfell. Ok I do understand that wiki need to have reliable sources what happens the only reliable sources that not only I'm a past student what about if I add a photo of the previous Barker College Musical Productions that is in a programme???

How WP:CRYSTAL works[edit]

Hi. Lets cut out the formalities and get down to business. You recently made several edits to next Australian election pages, implying that the next elections will take place in 2022 and 2025. While this will most likely be true, Wikipedia doesn't do the business of seeing into the future. If some unforeseen circumstances arise, so that the government loses its small majority (quite possible) or for another reason a snap election is called, then the 'prediction' would fail. So, please edit in such a way that only what is known for sure is shown on article pages.
49.14.103.0 (talk) 18:38, 22 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ok it was only for the step that I live in Australia. And that it’s not predicting the future results but it was to set up and that it was only to help the future Australia elections. Further note that I wasn’t shouting had caps lock on — Preceding unsigned comment added by TimDHill92 (talkcontribs)

No hard feelings :)
2402:8100:3968:D454:A162:2E7:46AC:AE35 (talk) 19:01, 22 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ok but why can’t it be prepared because Australian federal elections happens every 3 years.

Because we can't be 100% sure. For example, the 1984 election took place only one year after the 1983 one. For whatever reasons they may take place, we only write the years of the next elections in countries where election years are fixed under a constitution or under a law such as United States Presidential election, 2020, which is fixed under the constitution or 2021 Norwegian parliamentary election which is fixed under a law, but in other cases we only write 'next election' like Next Irish general election. For how the timing is decided in Australia, see Elections_in_Australia#Election_timing. Elections normally happen every 3 years, but there's no law to prevent them from being held earlier. To read the whole policy see Wikipedia:CRYSTAL but you won't find much more than I have already told you.
2402:8100:3968:D454:A162:2E7:46AC:AE35 (talk) 19:01, 22 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah I know that. Then personally I think that elections should happen every year. Then why can’t it listed as a future election but if it happens earlier or later it is easier to edit the year. I will be happy to change if the Elections happens earlier or later. I follow Australian Parliament everyday. TimDHill92 (talk) 19:13, 22 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You're right. If I made the rules, I'd have made the same. Sadly I don't.
2402:8100:3968:D454:A162:2E7:46AC:AE35 (talk) 19:16, 22 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ok. Governments would be more interesting if elections be every year. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TimDHill92 (talkcontribs) 11:36, 22 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
