I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

Welcome to WikiProject Numismatics![edit]

Hello, TimeCurrency, and welcome to WikiPproject Numismatics! Thank you for your generous offer to help contribute. I'm sure your input will be much appreciated. I hope you enjoy contributing here and being a numismatic Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to discuss anything on the project talk page, or to leave a message on my own talk page. Tucumán change[edit]

Hello. When you changed Tucumán into a disambiguation page, instead of a redirect, you may have overlooked the fact that nearly 300 other Wikipedia articles contain links to "Tucumán". When you change the page that existing links take readers to, "it is strongly recommended that you modify all pages that link to the old title so they will link to the new title". Thank you. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 20:59, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

WP:OWN - everyone can fix the false links that the people created by linking to Tucumán. I dissolved the redirect since it was plain wrong, the incoming links do not all refer to the old redirect target. TimeCurrency (talk) 21:36, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sure they don't. I'm sorry you felt the need to react defensively to my comment. All I am suggesting is that you take account of the fact that changes to one page can affect many other articles; I don't think that WP:OWN encourages you to ignore such effects. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 21:40, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I change: "everyone can fix" to "everyone is allowed by Wikipedia written policies to fix". TimeCurrency (talk) 21:42, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have fixed this breakage by moving Tucumán to Tucumán (disambiguation), pointing Tucumán back at Tucumán Province and adding a proper hatnote to Tucumán Province. This is the correct way of adding a disambiguation page to a title which has lots of existing inbound links. Be reminded that the onus is on you to avoid disrupting the project by breaking working wikilinks; that others may fix them is not an excuse. Looks good. Thank you. "Be reminded that the onus is on you to avoid disrupting the project by breaking working wikilinks" - they were working misleadingly. I am happy to have fixed that. TimeCurrency (talk) 10:53, 17 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This page appears to have some problems with the {{tz}} template you're using on the time zone pages. I'm not at all familiar with it so I'll leave you to fix it. Thought you'd like to know. VernoWhitney (talk) 16:24, 2 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Update for tz database map of Russia (2011e)[edit]

I was wondering if you could update File:Tz map russia2009r efeledotnet.png for the 2011e changes splitting Asia/Ulan_Ude off of Asia/Irkutsk. They are due to be posted to the tz database on 1 April 2011, but all of the necessary information is available here. Thanks. --Tim Parenti (talk) 19:35, 30 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
