If you repeat a revert without discussion, what will other editors do? They will repeat their revert, because nothing has changed. This endless loop is called a WP:Edit warring, which never leads to any improvement for an article, but can get you blocked from editing on Wikiepedia.

Instead, stop reverting, and go to Talk:Hockey_stick_graph, click "New section", and start a discussion by explaining why your edit improves the article. Now what will other editors do? They respond to what you said. You respond, and a discussion progresses. Editors find common understanding, and consensus on the changes occurs. The article can now be edited without any reverts, and you don't get blocked from editing.

In short, there are thousands of editors on Wikipedia, and none of them get their own way. Those that try, get excluded. Please don't let that happen to you. --A D Monroe III^(talk) 02:24, 9 February 2020 (UTC)

Warning: Your comments like "no discussion with such an editor will make sense" declare you are unwilling to discuss, only revert. Persisting in this will get you blocked as it leaves other editors no other option.
