Your username[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Huskmanagement", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, service, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are permitted to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you individually (not your role), such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".

Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, service, or website, regardless of your username. Please also read our paid editing policy and our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please request a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, choosing a username that complies with our username policy. Alternatively, you can just create a new account and use that for editing. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 00:33, 11 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Tina Barns at Husk Management. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Juno Roxas, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Cabayi (talk) 10:41, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the information. The purpose of my edits is to remove incorrect information about the artist I represent, Juno Roxas. I have no interest in promoting my company on your site(s). My account creation is purely for the purpose of monitoring user contributions for factual information regarding my client’s career and personal life. As he is a celebrated public figure this is pertinent. 203.30.2.147 (talk) 11:06, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That is still editing for pay and needs to be properly declared. It is still a conflict of interest and you should avoid editing the article directly. Cabayi (talk) 12:06, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I am not paid to make edits, neither by the artist or my company. I am doing this for free because you have allowed people to put non factual and misleading content on his page. Tina Barns at Husk Management (talk) 12:55, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Again, that is not the threshold Wikipedia applies. The artist pays your company. The company pays you. With your original username you presented yourself as editing on behalf of your company. We do not assess, or want to assess, your contract or your job description. There exists a relationship which meets our definition of a conflict of interest. You can ignore the WMF's terms of use if you wish, but when you face the consequences don't complain you were not made aware. Cabayi (talk) 13:44, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I request that you delete my account in that case. Tina Barns at Husk Management (talk) 13:52, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Is making a simple declaration on your userpage and requesting changes to the article at arms length really so objectionable to you?
There is no mechanism for deleting user accounts. All the contributions you have made to the project need to attributed to your account. Courtesy vanishing is as close as we can offer. Cabayi (talk) 13:59, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. I have sent the request via the form on the page. Tina Barns at Husk Management (talk) 14:32, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
