About Cosmo

Hello. Well, the correct form of the word is "Cosmo". Kurumada spelled it like this in his manga: with the kanji 小宇宙 (Kouchuu: small universe)with this furigana on top of them: コスモ (Kosumo: Cosmo), so the answer is clear. Also, Kurumada stated that he conceived the idea from a documentary about human body, in which he heard that our body is like a small universe.

About the source for Seiya's conceptions, let me check my records. He stated so in an interview i read in a manga magazine: Kappa Magazine, in 1999, i have the text in italian. Also, there is more info regarding Seiya's conception in that article,, I can add it to Seiya's page if you want.

Further, I have notified the sysop who unblocked him/her a while back concerning the disruptive behaviour coming from the account. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 02:59, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

Regarding the change you did to Himura Kenshin, it looks confusing now. Why not try this: "... which simultaneously deals nine strikes to the most fundamental targets ofswordsmanship, making guarding and dodging virtually impossible." That make sense? Also, I think it should be referenced that Sōjirō is the only character shown to have evaded the Kuzu-ryūsen. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 17:11, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
Hmm, I thought Enishi stopped the Amakakeru Ryū no Hirameki in the manga. Here's an idea; in addition to this, edit it to something like, "though Sōjirō is able to evade the Kuzu-ryūsen and Enishi can block the Amakakeru Ryū no Hirameki". It's been so long since I've read the manga that I'm probably confusing some scenes here, but you know what I'm attempting to say right? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 21:19, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
Yes to all, though you kind of lost me on the techniques part. Well, I'll leave it in your hands since I trust you. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 00:31, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
Can you make sure you reference like this from here on? Just thought it'd be more helpful. Perhaps the article needs to be double-checked, eh? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 03:03, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
I changed something. I'm still wondering if that Watsuki bit is even needed. Given that it cites the anime, it appears fractious. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 16:10, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
Ah, think I'll take it off. Any objection? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 17:26, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, been told it's been deleted before. I'd do an afd, but would rather a sysop outright delete it. I have already notified someone regarding possible meatpuppetry on the page. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 23:59, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
Did some corrections. I don't understand your first arranges ([1], [2]), why don't you leave edit summaries from now on? (Technically, the guideline prefers any summary than none) Inclusively, if you're interested in making it a featured article candidate, read this. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 17:37, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
Sephiroth BCR said there was some "big flow problem" in Reception. Want to check it out? This might need to be re-worded. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 03:04, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
Done. Regarding the bit on the seiyū`s experience, wouldn't the word "providing" be better off than "making" or does the source specifically say "making"? And on Techniques, the last sentence: "Because a wide-framed muscular build like that of Seijūrō's is more suited to Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryū compared to Kenshin's slender build, his body starts to deteriorate until he becomes unable to use the Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryū in the end of the series.[28]" I don't get it. Think it was better phrased before, looks "jumbled" (or something similar) now. Thoughts? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 01:40, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
I'm just saying that it should be clearer. The sentence seems too ongoing, does it not? Maybe clarify it further yet add something like what you told me, "kenshin will not able to perform that technique in a few years." Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 15:30, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
That's just it; IMO, it's worded so strangely that I don't get it. Maybe we need a third person's thought on the subject? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 15:43, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
Guess I'll leave it in your hands if the other user isn't here. Rephrase it, and I'll examine the two. Sound okay? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 16:06, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
Wait, does Kenshin become unable to use Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryū ever again or is it temporary? If the latter, then it should be worth mentioning in the article. And I forgot to ask you yesterday, why did you remove this? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 16:22, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
Yes, it's technically an attack or skill what have you (in the manga, there's usually high velocity blood spatter as a result of such blows). I think it should be included, as well the fact that Kenshin becomes unable to use Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryū ever again. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 17:05, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
I was waiting for you to undo this. I still believe the original reference should be re-added. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 17:44, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
Here we go. You think the "and/or" sounds better? And does the reference match the sentence? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 18:33, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
You never replied back so I assume my change was ok? And I was reading your userpage and wanted to ask if you wanted some userboxes which would reflect some of your tastes. Reply? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 20:36, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
Do any of the ones on my page interest you? I'll look for some more and get back to this soon as I can. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 02:49, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
There actually are lists of userboxes, I just don't know where they're at right now. I'll find them eventually and post the links on your talk page. This is a promise. That ok? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 16:36, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
I wasn't sure which you wanted so here are some English-related boxes. And I got you the anime list. Anything else from WP:USERBOX let me know. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 00:27, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
Yep, I read Collectonian's response on WT:MANGA and will get the job done. Beforehand, I need to check the hundred or so pages on my watchlist for vandalism and such. Regards, Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 00:38, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
Like you, I didn't know it existed already. Well, how's the change I did? Wasn't sure how to quite phrase the line regarding his role in the OVAs and its release. Is it about right? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 22:10, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
Regular thumb is too small, try around 200px to 250px (Remove the "right". With thumb, it defaults there). Yes, it should be mentioned. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 22:28, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

About time! I was beginning to worry (Kiddin'. I knew it'd pull through eventually). There are still issues on the article which need to be corrected, however. And just one other thing, the line where it says, "Watsuki also planned to make Kenshin be older than 30 years old; his editor commented that it was strange that the main character of a manga for teenagers was so old, so he made Kenshin 28 years old.[18]", is a bit obscure. What do you think? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 22:41, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

Done. Again, sorry for saving over your work (it would have been double the pain to do em over so this way was quicker). I'm about to fix the remaining dates, however, do you plan on doing another revamping to the page now? Let me know so there won't be another edit conflict (hate those things). Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 23:56, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
Which article are you referring to? In any event, you don't have to ask me if such data would be necessary. Be bold in updating pages. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 00:06, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
I reworded quite a few things. How does it look? Hope it doesn't look too different from what the sources say. Thoughts? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 03:56, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
I really want to get those dates nailed. Can I fix them before you include those summaries? (Really trying to prevent another edit crash) Trust me, the job will be done in moments. Thoughts? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 04:39, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
Would now be a good time for me to correct the dates? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 20:11, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
Ooops! Forgot to tell you that I finished the work on List of Rurouni Kenshin chapters. Sorry, you were gonna get to updating it right? Anyway, I was curious and wanted to look up for a "User:Tintor" and found this. Was this your first account or is it unrelated? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 00:49, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
I've never even heard the name until I met you. A google search suggests it is a surname and perhaps a title, see here. Why did you pick Tintor2? Because Tintor was taken? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) —Preceding comment was added at 18:28, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
A mere coincidence that this was one of those instances... or not? Guess there are some things we'll never know. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 18:41, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

Your userpage was vandolized and while I was fixing it, it was vandolized again. After a few edits I finaly fixed the page. Hope it's back to normal ^.^ . Sorry it took so many edits. - Prede (talk) 04:15, 19 April 2008 (UTC)

References were correct.

Tankobon 41 was release February 4th. 382 and 383 are the last two chapters. The references are accurate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by DestradoTensai (talkcontribs) 04:53, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

Saint Seiya

Yes, the majority definitely need to be merged. Although I can only imagine what Onikiri's army of IPs would do then.—Loveはドコ? (talkcontribs) 14:47, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

Just to clarify, Tintor, I've only studied Japanese for three years (in high school, no less) under a teacher I consider rather incompetent. However, reading kana and kanji [with a computer dictionary] is fairly simple. I know almost nothing about Saint Seiya anyway. I just found those article one day and noticed how absolutely atrocious the Romanization and wiki formatting were. I'll leave that discussion to more qualified people.—Loveはドコ? (talkcontribs) 02:14, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

Re: Jiraiya

I stand corrected, on that technicality. However, you and I both know the truth. I have references linking to the actual website now, but it seems that someone has semi-protected the page. I don't know why you and others insist on keeping either faulty information or a lack of information on a page, since I would assume that we're all trying to make these pages accurate. This isn't an example of a death being inferred - it is clearly stated, and there is a witness. All you are doing is fighting to keep this page inaccurate. DestradoZero 09:28, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

Re: Hunter x hunter

I deleted the tag because it seemed inappropriate. Other articles about the VOLUMES of manga have more than just one image for the article. Showing just the covers of the different volumes isn't excessive imaging. The format was merely copied from other similar articles. Revert any further discussion to Talk:List of Hunter × Hunter chapters if you feel the need. Shimawa zen (talk) 16:15, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

Please follow the redirect I posted above for continuing this discussion! I suggested the article talk page for a reason - now third parties can offer their input on the matter in a public relevant place. I started a topic on that page for this purpose. In the meantime, while this debate is still in progress I don't feel inclined to help you "clean up" images in other articles before some consciouses is reached on the subject. Shimawa zen (talk) 17:07, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

Re:Jiraiya reception

Too trivial. It has to offer a significant review or opinion of his characteristics, which it fails to do. The game stuff is mostly irrelevant. Good job searching though. Cheers, Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 22:18, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

Sorry

I do not know if I ever apologized for that Part in the story; Plot overview conflict we had when I was a beginner here on Wikipedia around two months ago, but if I didn't, I am sorry, and I hope we can be friends. Re: Naruto

If the specific issue number can't be determined you probably shouldn't bother. Sephiroth BCR has removed one of the "inadequate" references from Sasuke's article in favor of no reference in the past, so doing the same for Kirin should be fine until it gets volumized. Speaking of which, are you aware that List of Rurouni Kenshin chapters exists? As it would be perfectly acceptable for you to work on your draft there instead. The chapter titles missing from your draft can also be found there (they are Viz's if you're curious). ~SnapperTo 19:30, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

It looks like the five most popular jutsu, though I can't confirm that and don't know of anyone who could verify it. ~SnapperTo 18:44, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
Most certainly, specifically at Naruto#Characters. A lead in to the list along the lines of what is present in Bleach (manga)#Characters would also help. ~SnapperTo 18:18, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
Using Bleach (manga) as a model, "main characters" and the two paragraphs before that about characters in general are all you really need. Naruto doesn't feature very diverse "character types", so there's not much point in dedicating a section to it. ~SnapperTo 03:14, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
Shortening what is already there would make for a nice lead; it doesn't need to be that long/detailed. ~SnapperTo 18:16, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Lee certainly has the potential to support an article, the question is whether enough out-of-universe information can be found to justify it. Your draft looks good in all areas but the conception section; it's short and needs proper referencing. References for what is already there don't look like they'll be easy to find, and I'm not sure there's enough conception-related stuff available. I know the Naruto art book has one or two things on Lee, so I might be able to use those to stretch the section out into a healthy-sized paragraph, but it would be much easier if you sourced what you have first. As for Itachi, I haven't read a translation yet, so I can't pass judgment at the moment. ~SnapperTo 03:43, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
It doesn't really matter. There's little benefit in just listing the names without links to the character, but if someone wants to keep them listed it's doing no harm. ~SnapperTo 03:28, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
Might as well, seeing as List of Naruto characters is a model of sorts and lacks any indication of age, living, or deceased-ness. ~SnapperTo 00:23, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
Looks fine. Since your ultimate goal is GA quality, you should try to gear the article towards those who aren't familiar with the series. For example, instead of "Asuma found Shikamaru to have an IQ of over 200", use "His teacher, Asuma, found Shikamaru to have an IQ of over 200" the first time he's mentioned so people can figure out their relationship. It's the little bits of clarification that help readers/reviewers make sense of things. And I'll see what I can do to make the conception section longer one of these days. ~SnapperTo 03:01, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
I'm almost done with my Akatsuki merge sample, so I'll see what I can find on Shikamaru then. ~SnapperTo 20:40, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

Two issues mentioned on Talk:Himura Kenshin

We need to address to the problems that Wrad cited. First, what is the meaning of "Hitokiri Battōsai" here? Inclusively, the <! -- commented out -- > sentence at the very bottom of Personality needs a reference. I'm thinking we can get that bit from a screenshot of the Japanese-language English-subtitled DVD (here's a Dragon Ball example for Bardock/Burdock. I don't own any of the DVDs so perhaps you do? Please respond on your talk page, as I'm watching this discussion. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 19:15, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

What is what really needs to be cited? About oro, there is never an explanation in the series it is never explained. At some moments some people say "stop saying ororo". In the Kyoto arc Kenshin stops saying oro and before leaving he returns to use that quote, which Kaoru says "kenshin you returned to say oro." Ill soon talk here about battosai.Tintor2 (talkedits) 21:26, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
I think the "oro, oro" would be nice to remain the article, especially because of the influence to other series like Buso Renkin. Can you get a screenshot with him saying it? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 23:39, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
This is one of my favourites [3](lol). Will this help? It also shows that the english manga use this.Tintor2 (talkedits) 23:44, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, made me laugh. There a more descriptive image you know of? This one's a little vague (ie, the "oro" is tiny). Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 23:51, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

I dont find others. I could use one from www.onemanga.com but we would be making the same mistakes of the sailor moon articles that violated copyrights.Tintor2 (talkedits) 00:00, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

Ok. You wanna use that one for now? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 00:11, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
If you agree, ok. About hitokiri battosai, hitokiri means "man slayer". Battosai is more complicated (in none of the dubs I watched they translated it). batto is when a swordsman take out a sword (I think in englsih is neat) sai means "purify". So how would it be?.Tintor2 (talkedits) 00:18, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

I'm back. Not sure how it would be perceived: "Hitokiri Battōsai" (斬り抜刀斎, lit. "Swordsman Purify(ing) Man Slayer"), or is it "Hitokiri Battōsai" (斬り抜刀斎, lit. "Man Slayer Swordsman Purify(ing)")? Wish I knew Japanese right about now. Whatever happened to that individual who helped you? He could sure give a helping hand here. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 00:37, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

Batto doesnt mean swordsman. Batto is the move when you take out the sword. The opposite of sheating (I wish I could knew it). Apart from that I added the oro ref.Tintor2 (talkedits) 23:50, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
I really have no idea how to attain the meaning of "Hitokiri Battōsai"? Where's JadzierLover? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 03:37, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Any luck? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 20:39, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Ehhm.. Battou=unsheathe sai=purify hitokiri=man slayer... ehm, I havent seen Jadzialover since February 19. Do you know anybody else? I will ask darkangel007.Tintor2 (talkedits) 21:30, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

Battosai

Well, since "Hitokiri Battōsai" is a title given to Kenshin, I don't suggest writing it's literal meaning, as it'll change it's general meaning. Also, it is actually two separate titles: you already know that hitokiri's basic translation is "man slayer (assassin)"; on the other hand, the literal meaning of the kanji in Battōsai would differ from what the word actually refers to; which is that, the "Battōsai" is just another title for Kenshin to further establish that he has mastered battōjutsu (I think this was mentioned early on in the manga - around chapters .....10-15...I only remember him explaining it during his fight with that other hitokiri - Ah! It was so long ago >.< - if you could find that exact chapter, you could use that as a ref to the meaning of "Hitokiri Battōsai"). In that regard, I think that a sentence explaining what "Hitokiri Battōsai" means seems more fitting than a literal meaning of the kanji; and Hitokiri Battōsai is basically just the title given to Kenshin when he achieved his status as the legendary assassin, who, besides being renowned for being the best assassin during the war, is also renowned for his mastery of battōjutsu "in all its forms". <-- Around those lines.

Hope that helped. And congrats on the GA status. DarkAngel █▀▀007▄▄█ 04:02, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

I know, I'm saying that I advise that you don't use this: "Hitokiri Battōsai" (斬り抜刀斎, lit. "translation") - because it's literal translation would not help define the word Battōsai. You're just trying to solve this issue right? Well, writing how he earned the title "Battōsai" in a sentence would better explain it. Or you could just do either one of these:
(near the first mention of Hitokiri Battōsai)
When he arrives in Tokyo, Kenshin meets a young woman named Kamiya Kaoru who offers him to live in her dojo despite finding out Kenshin was the "Battōsai" (抜刀斎), the hitokiri who has mastered battōjutsu.
or
(in the second mention of Hitokiri Battōsai)
Within the first six months of his career, he kills over 100 people; that, combined with his reputation of having mastered battōjutsu, he eventually became known as the "Hitokiri Battōsai".
Either one of those would solve that issue.... DarkAngel █▀▀007▄▄█ 07:17, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Source of that info about Tenten

The other day you made an edit and asked for a source when someone added a few lines to Tenten's entry. The source is the 2nd Official Databook. It was part of an interview with Masashi Kishimoto.

The original question as it appears in the the 2nd Databook.

"Q5. Out of Sakura, Ino, Hinata and Tenten, who is your type? Tenten because I like her design." Sid122 talk 00:08, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

Re:Books

Sorry about the late reply. I've been rather busy today. As for the books, they seem useful, but like you said, the problem is finding someone with them. If I have the time, I'll stop by a bookstore tomorrow to see if they have them. Cheers, Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 05:51, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

List of Rurouni Kenshin chapters

That first sentence here doesn't make sense: "The former Shinsengumi member, Saitō Hajime, appears in the, Kamiya Kasshin Ryū, looking for Kenshin and leaves Sansuke injured, who realizes he wants to fight agaisnt him." Thoughts? Please reply below. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 21:33, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

Still no idea, if you have one idea replace it. Tintor2 (talkedits) 21:38, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
Guess I'll give it a shot. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 22:12, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
I know your English isn't that good but I can't blame you for being better at Spanish. So, I made a few rewordings and decided that once you finish adding all of the summaries, I'll tag the page with {{Copyedit}} and {{Cleanup-jargon}} for grammer. Thoughts? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 23:25, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

No problem, I understand. But it would be better to know an experienced user in grammar instead of asking to the league of copyeditors (considering the wait).Tintor2 (talkedits) 00:00, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Would you happen to personally know anyone? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 00:09, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

I think I could ask Wrad (the one who makes some reviews) or sephiroth if they knows somebody.Tintor2 (talkedits) 00:11, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Since I lack the knowledge I'll leave it to you guys. IMO, either translation sounds good but the most accurate should be selected. And I wanted to ask, why did you withdraw? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 16:46, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
Mainly because it would take a lot of time.Tintor2 (talkedits) 16:46, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
Ok, it will be faster if the article becomes GA and then its copyedited since there are are a large number of B/start articles to copyedit compared to GA.Tintor2 (talkedits) 16:55, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
BTW, shall Kenshin be classified as a Japanese superhero? Does the series imply that he saves many individuals? Oh, and I'm pondering if "oro" really is a trademark, as there is no source confirming. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 19:11, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

The oro was never considered such a trademark so I guess it can be deleted. About japanese superheroes, I guess he clasifies as that.Tintor2 (talkedits) 19:15, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

checkYDone! You mentioned awhile back that he isn't really a samurai. I agree, though is it because he follows his own code and not Bushidō? What does the manga specify? A reference in the article may be needed in such a case. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 19:25, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

Well, I dont understand very well what is a samurai, but Kenshin was born in poor family, as the name says hitokiri battosai is a murderer, not a samurai. After the death of Tomoe it becomes complicated to say his work because Kenshin attacks in groups with many soldiers. However, in the series he is always called swordsman. In the volume 25, Yahiko tells the whale-mouth like guy that Kenshin "is still a samurai. A bit confusing but I hope it helps. If we need, I can ask darkangel007.Tintor2 (talkedits) 00:16, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
Yes, can you ask him? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 01:13, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

If you were looking that Naruto news check this. I also heard once that in Australia some toys of Naruto were banned or something similar beacuse children imited them since they had knives (Is that parents dont know what is a ninja? they think he is some kind of pokemon trainer).Tintor2 (talkedits) 19:21, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

I'll look into that. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 19:25, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
"Hitokiri Battōsai": is it 斬り抜刀斎 or 人斬り抜刀斎? Some anon changed it on Rurouni Kenshin. If you don't know, think your friend can give a hand here? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 03:56, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
You around? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 20:09, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
Sorry for the delay, no idea we need some japanese help

Tintor2 (talkedits) 00:33, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

I mad some cleanup to the hitokiri battosai, I paid attention to the tankobon 3 and saw that the anon was right, I also added the meaning of that by using a reference and changed the "battosai" to hitokiri or hitokiri battosai to avoid repeating the kanji. I will make that clean up in the other articles. See you.Tintor2 (talkedits) 12:48, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
Cool. Did you get to finish? I'd like to check for spelling errors and the like. Thoughts? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 19:14, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

Yes.Tintor2 (talkedits) 19:16, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

Thoughts of what? I already finished that if you were waiting.Tintor2 (talkedits) 01:23, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
No, that was it. Thanks! Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 01:44, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
Is it "Meiji Government" or "Meiji government"? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 03:12, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
Also that line, "The story takes place during a fictional Meiji period; Kenshin is an ex-hitokiri formerly known as the legendary assassin called the "Hitokiri Battōsai"", does it look good? And there's something else hard to describe: is Kenshin 'formerly known as the legendary assassin called the "Hitokiri Battōsai"' or is he still known as 'the legendary assassin called the "Hitokiri Battōsai"'? Hope this made sense. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 05:37, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

"Meiji Government". About that line, if you think it makes more sense change it. See you.Tintor2 (talkedits) 15:48, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

Sure. But is Kenshin 'formerly known as the legendary assassin called the "Hitokiri Battōsai"' or is he still 'known as the legendary assassin called the "Hitokiri Battōsai"'? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 18:16, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
ehm... well, he is known by his past but he calls himself a wanderer, so I would say "formerly".Tintor2 (talkedits) 18:23, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
Hey, thanks for the help! (I didnt realize at first of the edit) I am only making this to see if Lee and Itachi have enough reception to have their own articles. However they lack creation info.Tintor2 (talkedits) 17:31, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

Saint Seiya Character List

Heya, i were just wondering why you removed Height, Weight and bloodtype from the profiles? ^^

Aha, i see. First time i heard the term "fancruft". But yeah i think we should move the movie characters to the movie articles. Most of the creation talk is in articles from old magazines that unfortunately havn't been translated into English. But i can try and dig up some spanish, french or other language with them. :)

Kenshin, a Samurai?

In technical terms, yes, I would most likely consider him to be a samurai (though I have a 2-5% doubt >.<). Though, they don't mention him to be one in the series, he is a hitokiri, who are actually samurais. The four real, original hitokiri were samurais, and even the actual person who Kenshin is based on is a samurai. And Kenshin did serve lords, who eventually became central figures in the government he helps build. You could probably categorize him as one, and if anyone thinks otherwise, they would have to state a reason besides "they never mentioned him to be one", cause that's not exactly a good reason to think he's not. Please, see Kenshin's talk page.--Nohansen (talk) 00:25, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Just thought those things should be mentioned in the Plot overview. Plus, I thought I had it at present tense. Fractyl (talk) 19:19, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

i have the website but my mouse has malfunctioned or else i would have given it to you. it currently is frozen and won't let me copy or paste anything. I'll try and give it to you tommorow. any questions? LOTRrules (talk) 19:49, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

Re:Interview

The problem is that SaiyanIsland is not a reliable source, and I don't think it could be used. As for the reception sections, I think you can only justify Lee having an article, as the random mentions IGN gives of Itachi for the three or so episodes he's featured in aren't sufficient. However, I have noticed that you are getting quite better at this. Any changes I would make to the Lee reception section are very minor. Feel free to recreate the article at your leisure. If you do, contact me, and I'll see if I can find any conception information, and I'll write the lead and "in other media" section. Good work. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 01:55, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Check this

Since on certain occasions you deal with editors who are vandalizing, are disruptive, making random edits, etc., you might want to consider passing out some of these. I use them, as well the nicer ones like {{test0}} and {{selftest}} for ppl who make controversial efforts. And I'd like to help you more on your sandbox. Thoughts? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 21:20, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Thanks, at least to avoid anon-edits will be cool. About the sandbox, of course you are welcome. I left my doubts of the sandbox here and in the talk page of Sephiroth. Regards.User:Tintor2(talkedits) 22:56, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
You decided not to give out the templates or did you forget? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 06:10, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
I dont know how to use them. Also there are like 10 templates.User:Tintor2(talkedits) 12:19, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
Would you like for me to show you or prefer not to learn? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 14:49, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
Yes, I would like.User:Tintor2(talkedits) 15:09, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
Start out with {{subst:|Name of page?}} ~~~~ (it's what I do). Then, pick a tag. Example: if it was vandalism, {{uw-vandalism}} or {{uw-vandalism2}} is best. It was nonsense, use {{test2}}. If they remove content without a reason, use {{blank}}, or the more serious {{blank2}}. If the editor inserted a joke or some other ridiculous edit, then you put {{joke}}, {{joke2}}, {{uw-joke}}, or {{uw-joke2}}, etc. So, here is a sample of it was the Akatsuki page: {{subst:uw-vandalism|Akatsuki (Naruto)}} — Any questions? Remember to raise the number of the warning if they continue (1, 2, 3, then their 4th warning overall is final). If they make another unconstructive edit after that, then report them on WP:AIV). Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 15:27, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks. A question, you still need to sign or its something automatic with this?User:Tintor2(talkedits) 18:04, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
No, you still sign with ~~~~. However, with warning tags, the spacing is automated. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 18:52, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

Ok, thanks for the explanation, I already made one of these a few minutes ago. See you--Tintor2 (talk) 22:22, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, you got it. No prob. Remember to skim through the user's history to see how many warnings they already have. If it's three, you use a level 4, etc. If they have been blocked before for whatever, then you can safely skip to level 2 or 3. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 23:22, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

Hey Sesshomaru, I have been working a bit in Pegasus Seiya (a bit unknown in North America). Do you see it okay?--Tintor2 (talk) 18:10, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

I placed this. Guess I could use more time to give it another look, but it's "near perfection" for now. If he has the power of flight, shouldn't that specifically be referenced? It's what I did for Paifu. Thoughts? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 02:53, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

No, he hasnt that power. I still need to give it more refs.--Tintor2 (talk) 13:03, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Should I remove the category? And I noticed your revert. Here's a better template for cases like these, {{uw-tpv}} (and there's 2, 3 and 4 if it's a repeater). Thoughts? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 03:42, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

Ah, he has the flight but by using that armor that is in some images. If that counts as a flying character, then it shouldnt be removed--Tintor2 (talk) 16:13, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

Is there a source confirming though? BTW, I gave User:Ggyssler a {{uw-spam3}} tag for his spam edit to Kenshin. Notice that it was his third offense, so level 3 was applied. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 19:01, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

Here "The cloth that Seiya uses in the Hades arc is able to use the wings parts to fly, normally and through dimensions.[16]". Although that ability was used only twice without a big notability. Something similar happens with the Sasuke Uchiha article; he flys in the cursed seal 2, but he isnt in that category.--Tintor2 (talk) 19:24, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

Then I guess it would be tangent. Remove the category, would you? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 19:46, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

I will do it. I hope nobody would revert it.--Tintor2 (talk) 00:13, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

Per a reply on my talk page long ago, I once categorized a couple of these characters in flight, like Hyoga. Though this was probably a bad move. Can you look into it? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 23:44, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

Hyoga has the same problem of Seiya. I will remove it.--Tintor2 (talk) 01:03, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

I also removed that from Phoenix Ikki and check the others, but they dont have that category. None of the characters of Saint Seiya are able to fly. I still cant believe that there are so many characters articles. Almost all wont survive to an AFD. Well, see you.Tintor2 (talk) 01:15, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

Thanks

Hey, thank you. Since your English isn't that good I assume you're Japanese? Anyway thank you for the articles referances section I will work on them on the next few weeks (with you). Thanks. On Pegasus Seiya, I wiki-linked superhuman strength and speed per categories over here. Was that a smart move? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 00:49, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

Yes, almost all characters from Saint Seiya are super strength and super speed. Apart from that, I made changes in Sojiro. I still need to expand conception and create reception. Regards.Tintor2 (talk) 01:45, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

I was finally able to do a minour updating. Since I only have this part of the manga on my computer, the chapters I used were on www.onemanga.com/ so, could you see if they're correct? And he is only reffered to as "Sojiro" in the English anime, is he not? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 19:57, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

No idea, I only wrote that thinking every name was like that. I will still keep updating the article. See you--Tintor2 (talk) 20:06, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

Well, I've seen the English anime up to that point so how about I vouch and say it's true? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 20:15, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
No idea.Tintor2 (talk) 20:16, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
Can you check the chapters then? Think I nailed the ISBNs. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 20:44, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

I will check them. Apart from that, today I have been arranging the Rurouni Kenshin article as you have seen. to get rid of that clean up tag. I got all those advices here.Tintor2 (talk) 20:51, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

Tintor, are you aware of the move request over here? Sounds like fanboys prefer Kishimoto's "666 Satan" and not the official English-language title, "O-Parts Hunter", which the guideline prefers. Would you like to participate? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 00:30, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
I ll see. I always knew that if that series appear in North America they would change its name.I think we are using the original instead of samurai x due to the manga is published with the original name. Its like dealing against the editors who want to keep Akatsuki (Naruto). Thanks.Tintor2 (talk) 00:33, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
I remember when Toonami called it "Samurai X", but then used "Rurouni Kenshin". The Viz manga always used "Rurouni Kenshin" though. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 00:45, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
Want to get back to working together or do you need help with some things beforehand? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 05:36, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

Rock Lee

Unfortunately, no, I do not have out-of-universe info for either Rock Lee or Itachi. I would, however, like to use the info you found to help improve the Naruto wikia, which has within the past few days been upped to my number one concern (second is the status of the characters articles here, especially Orochimaru, who might fail, and Naruto, who we forgot to work on a while ago). So... can I? ^_^ Artist Formerly Known As Whocares (talk) 21:03, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

Orochimaru's article is not on the same level of out-of-universe information as the three GA's, or even Gaara, whose been put on hold. I doubt that Orochimaru will be able to make GA, at least, for the time being. Artist Formerly Known As Whocares (talk) 19:41, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

Saint Seiya: The Movie

Yo there! I was just wondering about your inputs about the Saint Seiya: The Movie article. Does it need more references or more of something else?

But they are scans, do they need to have a better site just for that? o.O --Refuteku (talk) 18:22, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
Yeah yeah, but they are links, not posts and wouldn't harm Wikipedia in any way. ^^--Refuteku (talk) 14:39, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
No, i wouldn't say that it breaks it. There's plenty of loopholes. Like some of the scans are from pampleths that where given away for free at the theater, while some other scans you'd have to pay for. Though all of these pampleths or magazines are not made by Toei (who has the Copyright for Saint Seiya the Movie), whereas most of them ceased production over 20 years ago which practically means they are free to distribute as scans (not as printed copies of the magazine). Like you can go to various libraries in the world and print out articles free of charge (if you bring paper with you :P )

So my point is, that the articles are ment to be built upon but not changing their meaning. --Refuteku (talk) 14:49, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

But a magazine scan is a reliable source =o--Refuteku (talk) 15:33, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
Oh! Why didn't you say so then? xD They will be up in awhile ^^--Refuteku (talk) 15:36, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

Edward Elric

Unless you know of a good quality (but not high res) color manga image of Ed, I would like to restore the previous Ed Elric manga image. See, there should be one anime image and one manga image (to show what the character looks like in the manga) - that should be enough to illustrate the character. WhisperToMe (talk) 06:52, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

State Military characters of the Fullmetal Alchemist anime

Well done on trimming the article down, but I do have one question: Why was General Hakuro removed entirely? TomStar81 (Talk) 23:34, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Actually, he appeared on five seperate occasions (if I recall correctly): First on the train in episode 5, then when he assessed ed's alchemist certification, then to reassign hawkeye and mustang, then in Lior leading the troops, and lastly as the Lieutenant Fuher near the end of the series. It seems to me that he could be included, but I won't argue with you on the matter. One last thing: you removed his entry from the article body, but not the link to that entry from the rank section; if you do not want his bio to reappear in the list it would probably be a good idea to delink the rank link, otherwise contributers or annons may recreate the entry. TomStar81 (Talk) 23:55, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Non-commercial sites

If I knew, I would change them myself. The best I can come up with right now is WebCat, but that site consolidates all manga volumes into one entry and gives only start and end dates. Treat that statement as an offhand remark ("if you happen to see a better site, use it"). TangentCube, Dialogues 02:27, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

Back on the talk page User:Prede suggested that the article should mention steampunk [4]. Is there a good place to reference something like this? I ask you because you seem to know more about the franchise than me. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 02:43, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

Could you give me a short explanation of steampunk? I have never heard that term and the article of the genre does not say too much.Tintor2 (talk) 16:34, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
Steampunk is where older technolgy is used, and better develupted. Mostly steam power is used for more technolgy, then it ever was used for in real life. Steampower, clockworks, and older inventions (that aren't used today) end up being used, frequentily. It's like another reality where they devulpted different technology then we did, based off of steam and other older methods. 1920-ish and/or Victorian Age technolgy is used in a more current time frame, stuff like that. It is hard to explain. The artcile explains it much better then I can. For comparision read cyberpunk and Cyberpunk derivatives. Also this website gives a small, but informative look into Steampunk http://www.wired.com/gadgets/mods/multimedia/2007/06/gallery_steampunk- Prede (talk) 01:39, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
