Proposed deletion of Network Time Foundation[edit]

The article Network Time Foundation has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No secondary sources show NTF is notable. NTF claims noble goals, but does not identify any specific achievement or new standard development. Claiming control of existing projects does not make an organization notable. Major contributors appear to be members of a promotional company that provides services to NTF. The article sounds in advertising.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Some notes[edit]

I'm afraid that the above article did require deletion due to being promotional. Additionally, I've done the same to your user page, as it too was promotional. While it's fine if you want to place some brief information about yourself on your userpage, it can't be promotional or in the style of a CV. I was also a bit taken aback by seeing "we" in your comment on the talk page. Who is "we"? We only allow accounts to be operated by a single individual. If multiple people are sharing this account, they each need to create their own. If by "we" you meant that you work for the company, there are some disclosures that must be made if you are paid, compensated, or employed to edit Wikipedia (including being asked or expected to do so as part of your job responsibilities). These disclosures are mandatory and, if they apply to you, must be made before you edit again. Regardless, however, please note that all articles must be neutral in both content and tone, and may not promote anyone or anything. Let me know if you have any questions.
