BETWEEN BAOBAB TREES AND OMIRAMBA[edit]

Tsumkwe is situated in north-western Namibia in Otjozondjupa region, closely to the border of Botswana [1].The indigenous people are Ju`/hoasi called San(Bushmen) and they live in a remote paradise where man and nature still co-exist in harmony. Ju/`hoansi continue to practice a hunter-gatherer lifestyle. Walking around the scorching sand of the Kalahari Desert with bare feet and covered their bodies with animal skin, is their livelihood[2].

The main attraction of this area lies to its unspoilt nature and different landscape, as well as Game Reserve. Also, it is well known for its magnificent pans e.g Stunning pans, Klein Dobe and Groot Dobe which filled up with water after good rains. The main Big Five game found in Tsumkwe are Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Lion at present.
